    Great place and hangout in downtown Roseville. The food was great and enjoyed the atmosphere too. The Duck Fat fries are a must!!

    Wow. What an amazing place to eat at. The food was something I’ve never tasted before and was honestly the best food I’ve ever had at a Restaurant. The drinks were just as much as Buffalo Wild Wings or yard house, but you could TASTE the difference. The server (I forgot his name) was the cherry on top. He just made our experience so much better with his care, his humor, and his personality. We never had to ask for anything because it was already provided. Overall the best place I’ve ever eaten, will be going back, will be recommending to everyone.

    Tad noisy but we were still able to visit. Food was great! Attentive wait staff. Will go again. Did miss not having the Cottage Pie….not on the menu now.

    Bar service very slow! I asked for an Orange for my beer as it was suppose to come with an Orange. When the bartender finally gave it to the waitress my beer was almost gone. Waitress very nice. The tacos on taco Tuesday were delicious.

    Had a 7pm reservation and found out at 7:45 that they closed at 8. Getting drinks was slow but food came out quickly and was really good. Did not like that were able to make a reservation so close to closing so we felt a bit rushed. Will probably go back though, fun atmosphere and the food and drinks were very good.

    Met friends for dinner. We arrived about 15 minutes before our reservation but they seated us quickly on the patio outside. It was a cold night but there were patio heaters which made the patio comfortable, although the screamo metal band playing at the bar next door (at 6:30 pm) was distracting. We ordered the Bad Habit cocktail which was outstanding. The soft pretzels were a delicious appetizer. I had the cottage pie entree and my wife had the Monks Cellar burger with duck fat fries, both very tasty. Good portions but not too much. My friend had the steak frites and raved about how good it was throughout the meal. Coffee and dessert: we all split cheesecake and the chocolate pretzel pie: both solid offerings. They ran out of coffee when we asked for a second cup. Service was attentive and friendly but not hovering. Highly recommended.

    One of our favorite places in Roseville. The food is always good. Monk's beer is always great. And, a good selection of cocktails, wine, cider, and other drinks. The nice and casual atmosphere and a friendly staff keep us coming back to Monk's Cellar.

    This is my second time here, the service is bad 😕 I was treating my friends. I told the waiter first round of drinks and appetizer were on me, he said yes no problem. I said if needs to close the tab to avoid confusion to let me know. At the end the order were all mixed up with everyones order. The people I was treating ended up paying. It was embarassing!!!

    Everything was okay. The food was not as terrific as it has been. I loved the upscale brew pub menu but the actual food doesn’t match anymore. Our fries were thrown on the plate and the juices made everything else on the plate soggy inclining the fries, it was just careless. Plus the fries were not as delicious as I remember them. I will say our server was a very sweet gal and did take good care of us.
