Led by talented culinary duo executive chef / partner Brian Riggenbach and front-of-house extraordinaire / partner Mikey Corona, The Mockingbird offers a menu of comfort classics with a global twist and an ambiance of art deco diner whimsy. Walls are covered in beautiful custom-made wallpaper, painted tin tiles on the ceiling, windows open to two patios as weather allows and a larger-than-life mirrored bird sculpture overlooking the dining room. And then there’s the food and drink! Munch on a Mockingburger or Mac N Cheese (aka Feeling Grate!) while sipping an Old-Fashioned-ish or a Punchin’ Bag (ask about it – they are famous!). We also love hosting group events! We have a private dining room, an upstairs dining room and an enclosed patio, all perfect for bridal showers and bachelorette parties plus business lunches and corporate dinners.     The food tasted great. The only complaint was where we were seated must have been opposite a compressor or something with a motor on the other side of the wall. Not only could we hear it kick on but could also feel it as our seat and table would loudly and physically vibrate until it cut off again. Other than that being super annoying we really enjoyed the food.

    Really did not like this restaurant. Our server was nice but food was very mediocre. Fast paced club like music was played that made us feel like we had to eat fast. The restaurant was fairly empty for a Saturday night so maybe we aren't the only ones a bit disappointed.

    LOVED the food. The atmosphere was cute and service was great! Wish the spicy marg (hot tropic) was stronger and actually spicy but other than that it was good!

    The place is beautiful, server was nice and friendly. We came for lunch the day after Thanksgiving and everything was delicious. There was a delay en the kitchen with our order and we got a cinnamon roll and a giant donut as courtesy. Once our food came in, enriching was delicious and freshly made. Every dish was plentiful.

    Food was amazing! Service was very slow for a fixed menu for Thanksgiving and our food was brought out in a strange order - kids were served their full meal and done by the time we received ours. Turkey was great though!

    The food was very good and the service great too. I did not appreciate the Pride flag in our face upon entering, not all agree with that lifestyle and feel this should be left out of the restaurant.

    Delicious food and great service. We ate at the price-fixed, menu-fixed Thanksgiving special and it was amazing. We will go back for a “regular” menu when we come back to Nashville!!

    We came for the Thanksgiving menu. We did not expect EVERYTHING TO BE AMAZING!!! Great care was given to the food, the presentation and the service making it one of the best restaurants I’ve been to.

    It is always such a treat to dine at the Mockingbird! It is so delicious, never disappoints. The staff is awesome as well. Whenever I bring a Mockingbird rookie- they leave a fan.

    The place was so cute and our server was great. The food was good but was a little over priced for what we had. It is a beautiful diner and we will be back to try breakfast/brunch because I know it will be better! Thank you for a good date night out

    Everything we chose on the menu was delicious and presented well. Our favorite was the sisig. As a Filipina, I can verify how well balanced the different layers of flavors and textures were, really elevating this dish. Drinks were also fun and tasty. Staff were all friendly and open to sharing insights of Nashville as we were just visiting. Emmett, our server and bartender was super cool. We would definitely come back again.

    We came from Texas to Nashville for a birthday and wanted a special place for a celebration dinner. Mockingbird did not disappoint. The drinks were awesome, names of dishes were entertaining and the food was delicious! Service was super too. Y’all need to pick this place for next night out.

    I am tired of all the top ten restaurants from all the travel sites. I am a foodie and was very happy with my short rib entree. Incredible, my wife loved the salmon. Do and discover a great experience.

    I had the pork steak and could only eat a few bites. The sauce was extremely strong. The galette was served room temp and had no taste. The service and ambiance was great.

    Mitchell was by far one of the best servers we have had. He made our evening out very enjoyable and his knowledge of the menu was quite helpful when it came to us making a meal choice. Everything was perfect!

    Had not been to Lunch/Brunch at Mockingbird before. The variety of menu items ran the gamut of lunch and brunch and met everyone’s need in our party. As always the vibe and service were great. We will be back to Mockingbird for lunch/brunch again soon.
