The Mixer restaurant is in the historic 6th district in downtown Hopkinsville KY. Come see the newly renovated building that housed the iconic Young Hardware store from 1898 to 2017.
Get that big city experience in small town Kentucky with an open concept dining room, original brick walls, a beautiful centerpiece bar made from reclaimed wood, and balcony seating that overlooks the space.
We match the ambiance with a menu of handcrafted seasonal dishes, craft cocktails, gourmet coffees and homemade desserts. We also strive to source products from local businesses to showcase what this city has to offer.
Our food is best described as new American with Southern flare and international inspirations.
Some of our most popular dishes include: Shrimp and Grits, Double Cut Pork Chop, and Cold Smoked Crispy Skinned Salmon.

Everything was wonderful!! As always. The buffalo chicken dip is my favorite, the filet is always perfectly cooked and the margaritas were delicious.

We always have an excellent experience at the Mixer and Father's Day Brunch was no exception. Our servers were attentive and the food was fabulous. One of our favorite restaurants!

Another great dinner experience at The Mixer. Had the Mixer Burger and Teriyaki Fish Tacos. Our server Dustin did a great job. Kept our drinks filled and was very attentive to our needs.

We sat at a booth by the bar. Our bartender and waiter Josh was fantastic. He was very personable and attentive. There were 4 of us and we each ordered something different from the menu. All of our meals were delicious! Kudos to the chef.

Awesome food and service as always. We had the Mixer Burger and the wedge salad and started off with the focaccia bread. We always have a good time at The Mixer.

We had a nice dinner. The filet I ordered was a bit overcooked but still edible. $53 was the market price for the filet. I’m not sure that is a reasonable price for the steak itself. The portion sizes seem to have gotten smaller over time. The shrimp and grits was more of a small plate size than an entree.

We had reservations and were seated upon entry. The building is just beautiful and many framed artworks that you can actually purchase! Our service was extraordinary, and our server Dustin answered every question we had. The food was beautiful as well as tasty! My husband said this is a gem of a restaurant!!! We will definitely be back!
