   Sunday lunch at Leeming is a real treat.On a glorious spring day the smoked salmon starter was superb,followed by pork and the trimmings and a perfectly proportioned cheeseboard.a pleasure to experience.

   We went to have a lovely Mother's day lunch at the regency restaurant in Leeming House hotel. The weather and food was perfect and we all had a wonderful time. We'll go back there again.

   Wow... Such a beautiful setting... From the moment we arrived for a pre-dinner drink to the moment we left, everything was excellent. A very pleasant drink in the study whilst our table was prepared, very attentive bar staff and a fantastic view of Ullswater!... The ambience of the restaurant was great, not too crowded, well spaced tables and lovely decor. The quality of all courses was excellent, with the portions being Just right! ... Overall a fantastic experience, and not too costly for a Fine Dining experience...

   We had a wonderful time at the restaurant as ever. We had a 3 course meal. We both had a braised beef for main course and it was so tender and so tasty...caramelised parsnip was very nice too.

   The Leeming House at Ullswater isan ideal location with beatiful grounds.The food is very good,although portions on the small side if you like lots of vegetables with your meal.well worth a visit.

   Pity there was no Sauvignon Blanc on the two evenings we ate there! The food was very good and we enjoyed meals on two evenings.

   The hotel somewhat presents as an establishment within the realms of shabby chic but clearly of elegant good taste of past times, no minimalist modern design here. Staff were polite,attentive and of a standard of excellence in service rarely seen in more 'Boutique' establishments and the tranquility and charm won over the 'wear and tear' .The welcome warmth of a roaring fire, good wine and a select but well thought out menu ensured a very delectable meal and a superb evening .We will be back!
