   Exceptional staff. Kenedy was our server. Awet service gave us some great tips of clubs to check out. Food was excellent and presentation was perfect. They definitely have it together.vert busy fun evening at Tge Mission.

   Had guest in town and tried The Mission for the first time. Here’s my negatives, thought the restaurant is very snug. We were trying the amazing guacamole, made a the table, but the whole time guest had to walk around us, the tables are very tight together which creates more noise. It’s a bit dark inside, so give yourself some time to adjust. Positives. We the thought food was fantastic, Pork Shoulder for two was plentiful but you need to order a side dish. Thought the corn tortillas were too greasy but fresh. Our guest had a salad which was huge and she loved it. Great spot to take visitors. Other dishes included various tacos and some large steaks. The place is not cheap but you are in Old Scottsdale, so not surprising. This will be a place we return too. The outside patio looks like a great spot, but fills up fast.

   The food was amazing, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was fantastic. Definitely try the Green Chile Pinto Beans — they’re absolutely mind-blowing! We started with the Duck Carnitas Empanadas with a prickly pear margarita and a jalapeno/cucumber margarita. The cocktails were exceptional and the starter was wonderful. A bit heavier than we anticipated, but we should have known better from reading the description in the menu, especially after the inclusion of foie gras. For entrees, we shared the 10oz Flat Iron Steak and the Chorizo Porchetta, and both dishes were delicious and perfectly sized and balanced. We had the Oaxacan Cheesy Rice and the Green Chile Pinto Beans as sides. We polished the bowl of Pinto Beans and ordered another to take home to try to deconstruct. They’re amazing… If all beans tasted this good, there’d be no need to any other food. Our server, McKenzie, was awesome — attentive when needed and incredibly helpful in guiding us through the menu when we first arrived. She also took the time to explain the unique cooking and preparation processes for various items, which gave us a better appreciation for why the restaurant is known for its outstanding pork dishes and authenticity. We will absolutely be back and share this restaurant with visiting friends and family. 100% recommended. 👍😊💯

   First time to The Mission - we had a great meal, good service. Highly recommend the guacamole cart! We sat on the patio and they had a water mister on the ceiling to keep the patio cool in the hot weather.

   We enjoyed the entire experience. The margaritas were fabulous and the guacamole was the best we ever had. We will definitely be back and recommend your restaurant to our friends.

   The food was very good. We have been there numerous times and while we were waiting for seating on the back patio, we were told that diners at 2 tables were not getting up and after an additional 20 minutes we were placed in the front patio. You had one server that covered several tables and that led to delays with no help We finished with the churro desert and the espresso had melted, was warm and waited an additional 20 minutes after trying to cancel because of the delay.    The Brussels sprout tacos were probably the best tacos I’ve ever eaten. I will definitely be back for another visit.

    The atmosphere always hits here. It’s a fun vibe. The energy is always high but it’s not overwhelming or intrusive. The food never disappoints and the chef usually accommodates our party’s proclivities and needs. Tonight, we started with the table-side guac. (We highly recommend all of the inclusion options.) For dinner, we had the butternut squash tacos and the pork belly lettuce wraps off of the starter menu. Super flavorful and the portions make this place a high- value option in Old Town. I always recommend this spot for any in town guests, special occasion or just a random Monday. You can’t go wrong.
