AMAZING!!! Every dish was absolutely delicious, I don’t know how I’ve never been here before
Very good atmosphere, food, drinks and service but I thought it was somewhat over-priced.
Excellent restaurant- our favorite in Old Town. Great atmosphere, service is terrific - everyone is always friendly - food is spectacular
Pretty expensive for what you get. Drinks were not good. Our waitress was nice but she had too many tables. Appetizers were good but swordfish entree was average.
The food and drinks were amazing!! Lots of great drink options as well. The tacos and guacamole were probably the best I’ve ever had. I also enjoyed the atmosphere, and the patio was a great spot.
Food and margaritas were delicious!
Service was excellent!
Outdoor dining was perfect!
Indoor seating was a bit dark and music was loud. So happy we went!
Very dark otherwise a great restaurant. Food and service were great.
Our waiter Palo made our experience extra special. Everything was
Above expectations which were high. One of our favorite restaurants in town.
Super dissapointed with our dinner at the Mission. We ordered guac and it was dumped on the table. It was not even done table side and we were also not offered our spice level. Poor experience overall and especially since we came all the way from Florida and was recommended that restaurant.
Solid date night dinner. Book ur reservations early as options get limited the closer to the day of dinner. Always great food and flavors from the kitchen.
Great food! Love the ambiance.
A very nice dining experience. Great food. Good service. The server did seem like they wanted to turn the table quickly.
Had a table outside. The drink menu is great, and you must get the guacamole! The tacos were good- although they are on the small side, especially compared to many other Mexican places. Overall a fun evening, tho!
I’ve never mentioned music before in a review, but the genre is so out of place here it ruins the vibe/mood. Drinks are small and meh. Food portions are tiny but good. Brussel sprouts are the best I’ve ever tasted.
Service was great and food was fantastic!
Service was top notch! Food was excellent.
Celebrated my birthday and daughter’s engagement. Zac, the host, was welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. He returned a few times to our table to make sure everything was satisfactory. Great customer service on his part. Our server, Rich, was knowledgeable to make great recommendations for our drinks and meal choices. He was wonderful!! We enjoyed an evening on the patio, celebrating and creating a new memory. The shrimp appetizer and guacamole were on point!! My faroe salmon was DELICIOUS!! My daughter mad the Kale salad, also delish,!! Also the desserts completed our evening.! Super yummy!! Thank you to THE MISSION and their staff for making our evening truly special.
Beautiful Old Town location. Sat in a cozy corner. Greeted right away and we were given plenty of time to look at the expansive menu. Chips, salsa and guacamole were plentiful and delicious. Tacos, grits and Mexican corn were great to share. Excellent, personable service.
The service and food were phenomenal! We had a reservation set for an unusually late time and they still took the best of care of us
The waiter Jamar made our experience exceptional, he should get a promotion! Thanks Mission!
Love the ambiance and the location. Food was excellent! Highly recommend.
We have eaten many times at their Kierland branch and loved everything about it. First time at Old Town, and it was terrible. We had reservations for lunch. Upon arrival, we were told we could only have drinks and chips because the kitchen staff was anxious to go home. The hostess was short tempered and condescending. Maybe she wanted to go home, too. Finally, she agreed that with lunch reservations, we should get lunch. After being seated, we were told we had to hurry and order because the cook was tired and wanted to leave. The waiter or kitchen staff failed to bring the food we had ordered. Several items on the menu were “out.” These were not speciality items - one was their potatoes. We ordered the roasted corn without cheese, which ended up being canned corn with cheese. It was soupy and greasy. The tacos were soggy and salty. Hibiscus margarita, always a favorite at Kierland, was undrinkable. The service, ambience, food, surroundings, - everything - has always been lovely at Kierland. I predict management and staff will have Old Town out of business in no time. No one wants to pay those prices and be treated disrespectfully and serviced poor quality food.
Absolutely amazing food, but be warned the portions are small. Ordered the shrimp and skirt steak tacos during lunch, each plate includes 3 tacos. Presentation was phenomenal, and the guacamole appetizer was great! Service outstanding, and the ambience was perfect. Definitely more Spanish cuisine than Mexican, and that was a pleasant surprise.
Loved the ambiance and presentation of the food! Definitely will be coming back soon! Waiters were awesome!
Had an amazing Valentines Day/Birthday brunch. Ambiance was beautiful, food left us speechless and server Melissa was awesome! We will definitely be back!!!
The Mission is always a great go to for great food, good drinks and a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Lovely ambaince, cocktails were amazing! Food was great, surprised at our total bill (less than expected) for a Valetiane's Dinner Date
Loved it can’t express how much we enjoy dining here every time we are in town
The is a great restaurant in an excellent location in old town. We got to our reservation a bit early and it was a busy night, so we waited at the bar while sipping on some tasty margaritas. The food was excellent, we had the guac to start and both ordered the swordfish which was excellent. We had a side of Brussel sprouts and I couldn't get enough of them. The drinks were good, but I would suggest the margaritas. I had a mojito which was fine, but not the best I've had so I went back to what I think they do best. For dessert we split the espresso churros - wow, so good. Nice ambience fairly good service. Will definitely make it back when in town.
Great all the way around.. I live in Mexico;; their Guacamole was absolutely amazing!!
We’re going back soon! Nice 👍🏽🔜
The food was spectacular, and the service was really good.
The street tacos were overflowing and impossible to eat like s taco. Had to use a fork. The flavors of the pork and steak tacos were underwhelming. Guacamole was great. Service was excellent. I will go back, but will order something else on the menu.
The food was outstanding, the ambiance was beautiful and the waitstaff was amazing! We will be visiting The Mission every time we are in town. Thank you!
Awesome experience.
Food and service were awesome! Make sure you try the Chorizo Porchetta!
Tacos are three very small street tortillas with a mountain of toppings, more of a knife and fork item than something you would hold.
Every time I visit Scottsdale I have to eat at The Mission. First time here for lunch. Menu is smaller but still a good variety. Norhing ever disappoints.
Amazing food. Not what we anticipated but ever so greater than expectation!
Outstanding! Our waiter was fantastic
A unique experience with frequently changing menu. We appreciate the excellent quality of food and service. The wine list is outstanding. A great place for dinner.
