North Scottsdale’s heart beats to a Latin drum at The Mission at Kierland Commons where renowned Chef Matt Carter (Zinc Bistro and Fat Ox) brings a modern twist to Latin cuisine blending influences from Spain, Mexico, Central America, and South America.

Sip a signature margarita with unique flavors such as cucumber jalepeno or aguacate (yes, we said avocado) as you watch your Tableside Guacamole made to your taste from more than a dozen fresh ingredients.

A gorgeous restaurant located at Kierland Commons! From the decor to the desserts, it makes for a great dining experience!! Table-side guacamole is a must. And ask for Mathew - top notch server in the Valley.

I made a reservation through Open Table for the bar (which WAS an option) and when I arrived they told me I couldn’t make reservations for the bar and would have to wait. They had run out of frozen margaritas before 5:00pm. The service continues to be lacking each time I go there, inattentive, apathetic, (didn’t even come back to let me know they had run out of the drink I ordered just brought me a completely different drink and presented it as though I should be happy I was getting anything…very odd behavior IMO). The food was good; happy hour chicken tostada was very flavorful. Previously, the chips and salsa came with my meal, this time I was told I had to pay for an order.

Nice touches for Easter. Quality food, and atmosphere. We were early for our reservation, but they worked us into a hightop table and it worked out just fine.

One of our favorite restaurants in the area. We had the 18oz ribeye this time and it was terrific. Pumpkin bread also outstanding. Love this place!
