   Been there quite a few times. Food was up to the usual high standard, but service was much slower than previous occasions with a long initial wait for our order to be taken.

   Beautiful decor & ambience. The food was first class & the staff were fantastic ~ we had a very nice time celebrating our wedding anniversary. Enjoyed every moment.

   The Mirabelle has been beautifully refurbished and it was good to see it looking even smarter than before.The food was superb - I could have drunk buckets of the wonderful lobster bisque - in fact, every thing was so well presented and delicious. Service was brilliant too - helpful, unobtrusive staff made us feel comfortable and anticipated our needs. This is a wonderful restaurant and the lunch menu is extremely good value too. It was a happy, celebratory lunch which we hope to repeat in the near future.

   Lovely for a special occasion. Set meal very high quality and excellent value, but the drinks are costly compared to the food.

   Fantastic meal, really enjoyed the meal. We had the tasting menu with the matching wine pairing which was fantastic value and the food was as good as I've had anywhere. The service was also excellent. With food, service and value of this quality it should have a michelin star.

   The six of us enjoyed a delicious three course lunch, continuing our tradition of having a pre-Christmas family get together at the Grand. The service was excellent, there were plenty of staff to ensure we were well looked after. My favourite course was dessert, which was caramelised pineapple served with black pepper ice cream - simple but so tasty. We'll definitely be back next December if not before!

   We were staying in the Grand as part of my husband's birthday celebrations and booked for the Mirabelle on our first evening. We decided on the Taster Menu with wines. The staff were excellent, being informative but not intrusive, just what was needed. The food was delicious and risotto with scallops was devine. Thanks to the Mirabelle we had a lovely evening with delicious food and wines to enhance every course.

    Another memorable meal. Service was outstanding. I mentioned I was vegetarian and was offered various extra options in addition to those already on the menu. The waiters knew the ingredients very well. A live pianist played beautifully throughout, adding a lovely finishing touch.
