The noise level at 1:45pm was intolerable. The music was too loud to converse.
I will miss this place terribly!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Diane’s Bloody Mary Bar is the greatest place on Earth. Not only are the food and drinks absolutely delicious, but Diane and Lisa are the sweetest people ever. Can’t get enough of the food and the company!
Test Kitchen is currently a Bloody Mary bar being run by Dianne Mina (Michaels wife). The drinks are amazing, of course, and the food is outstanding. We had the cheesy /mushroom toast, silver dollar pancakes, and the burger. All were amazing. They are only open a week or,so more so go while you can.
Food was very good...but the servers kept trying to yank the plates off the table before we were done with something....
And it was so loud in there...
The only bad thing I have to say about Diane's Bloody Mary Bar is that is is leaving December 2nd! This is a gem and will be missed. We have yet to have a bad thing on the menu and the staff is excellent!
Service was friendly & food was tasty but hot food was served almost cold so I guess it had been waiting in the back.
Incredible brunch. Best bloodys on the bay, best French toast I've ever had and incredibly friendly. You wait for a bit for food, but what's the rush? Its brunch. Have a bloody and have a great time.
Hands down one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time
Damn fine cheeseburger and fries. Service a tad slow at the beginning but they eventually picked up slack. Bloodies and margaritas good. Paloma not so much. They need a decent IPA on the menu!
Awesome food and service!
The food was great (loved the French toast) but I was particularly appreciative of how gracious they were about accommodating a change to our reservation at a busy time.
Loved the food, the French toast was phenomenal. However the service was barely adequate for a restaurant that was almost empty at 1:00 PM on a week day. My husband asked to substitute bacon for the ham on his breakfast egg sandwich but they wouldn’t accommodate and told him that they would add bacon for $3 but wouldn’t take the ham off. This is a “test kitchen” that seems to have the food component down but really needs to work on the service element
The food was fantastic, the playlist was fun and lively, and I the bloody’s were delicious! If you’re thinking about making a reservation, just do it!!
Good food, friendly service, way TOO LOUD. Good bloody mary's.
The place is very welcomed and homey. The food and the service were great. The value is great as well. The portions are very generous. We felt like we "left" San Francisco for an hour:-)
Best service and best Bloody Mary’s I’ve ever had. I’m recommending this place to all my friends.
Great ambiance, wonderful food and Lisa deserves a shout-out!
Best bloody marys in town-- bar none. And tasty food....and friendly and on-it service!
My girlfriend and I absolutely loved this place for a Sunday brunch. She got the burger and I had the french toast. She loved the fact that there were cooked onions between the two patties and the mustard buns were fantastic. The bread choice for the french toast was also amazing. 10/10 would come back
Service was very polite but also slow. Fortunately, the Bloody Marys were good and it was a relaxed Sunday brunch. But honestly, food took a while to come out. Very good once it did, though. We’ll make it a regular stop for the weekends — when we have nothing else after.
Wonderful food and great vibe, but so loud it was hard to converse. Would recommend some sound dampening.
Diane and her vibrant crew were so welcoming and hospitable! The food was delicious! Best french toast, bloody mary's and eggs ever!!
Amazing food, customer service was excellent! Great drink and food menu. Alot of healthy options. The location is centrally located and the restaurant is super cute.
I ordered a breakfast sandwich, and it was a bun with one fried egg, a slice of ham and American cheese...that was it. I was still really hungry after. The service was above average and the hostess was very friendly.
Would not go back. Pedestrian food; an intolerable noise level.
The food service was slow but the wait staff was great. The food and bloody were expensive for what you got!
Went for brunch -- very fun. The manager Lisa is outstanding. She's what more " hot spots" in SF need -- friendly, fun, professional and completely involved in her guest's experience. Restaurant was running late on our reservation and she took care of us very nicely. We sat outside and enjoyed some great bloody marys. Our server was good too. Go for Lisa's excellent hospitality -- you can't miss her.
Lisa was really nice and the Bloody Mary is just amazing!
Food to a very long time to come out.
Great Food, quality ingredients, fair prices, and an Amazing staff. Such a fun lunch or brunch.
Amazing food, service. Great experience. Will be back this week.
Love love this lovely place. Came for breakfast. Excellent service. Friendly staff. Known for their Bloody Mary. Avocado toast and salmon toast were very delish. Definitely a place to return to.
The service was extraordinarily friendly. The bloody Mary and wine prices were very reasonable and well worth ordering. I had the hamburger which was one of the best I’ve ever had. The french fries were superb as well. I will be returning.
We really enjoyed ourselves at Diane’s. My main focus was getting a classic Bloody Mary, which I did, and it did not disappoint. It was the perfect amount of what a Bloody Mary should be. Not sure that our server was too happy that we only ordered drinks but the woman greeting us was as friendly as can be. Such a great vibe in a very cute neighborhood. We will be back.
This is hands down the best brunch spot in SF. Diane, Lisa and Amber Ray crush it along with the rest of the amazing staff. I find myself bringing new friends to this place every week.
Good service and good food, but I wasn't blown away by anything. Disappointed that the Bloody Mary had no pickled veggies. I'll go again, but more for the ambiance and friendly service than the food.
What a great find this was! The pop up was Diane’s Bloody Mary bar and everything was phenomenal. The people were fantastic and so happy! (we met Diane also, she was lovely!) The food was absolutely to die for. They took simple avocado toast to a whole new level. Just outstanding. All of it. You have to go!
The food was excellent, one of the best breakfasts I've had in San Francisco. Definitely the best Bloody Mary. The "Eggy Bread French Toast" was sublime and the open face omelette was great. The servers were friendly and attentive. The overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming.
Our only quibble is that it's such a small room that the noise is a problem. It was a problem with the last restaurant in that space, and the one before that, and the one before that...
But the food made the noise level only a minor annoyance.
