Disappointing I took my 90 year old mum for lunch and had booked on line for 12.30. When we arrived I said we have a booking for 12.30 and we were directed to a small table which was not reserved. I asked my mum if it was ok because some seating can be a challenge for her as she is a wee bit wobbly. I said to my mum I can ask if we can move to a larger seat but before my mum could reply the older lady behind the bar rather abruptly said you can't sit there all of those tables are reserved. All of those tables were still empty when we left an hour later. We have had lunch at the millstone previously and enjoyed it which was why we returned but this visit the food was disappointing. I had the pork which was very cold with hot gravy poured over the top also parsnips were cold and hard on the middle roast potatoes looked nothing like a roast potato they were as white as the mash. The two youngsters serving were super friendly and could not have been more helpful

Sunday lunch for 4 people not one of us enjoyed the meal , I do wish we never booked here The frozen roasties were under cooked , cold ,definitely a lot of frozen bits on the plate cold , everything was tasteless, my pork was pork slices x2 and the stuffing was the worst iv ever tasted , yuk The staff must of known , as we were not asked once if we were enjoying it ,not spoke a word to us , And we found the women behind the bar was quiet rude to a older lady when she mistakenly ordered wrong , she very abruptly shot her down , No smiles no nothing , and it was very quiet , I would give this place a miss for food , Nice sunny bear garden ,
