Everything about this place is fabulous. Everything. Period.
Food is always wonderful it’s one of my favorites living in the city!
Nice meal with excellent service
The food and service were poor quality, but the space is nice.
Give your on UWS would be great if you could add some kid friendly items on the menu and be a bit more geared towards families. I like the food but feel very unwelcome w kids.
Great atmosphere for anyone looking for a date night out with a wife or girlfriend. Limited items on a menu, so don't expect lots of choices; however, just enough to have satisfying experience wonder how many times they update their menu through the year.
Went on a first date here. Beautiful bar to wait at. Lighting was just about the right level. Wait staff very nice and engaging. And the food was perfect. Recommended.
Delicious as usual!
Loved the food and service was amazing!!!
Had a good experience for a Sunday brunch
the food was good we started with the octopus and avocado toast and eggs Benedict with Brussels as well as eggs with smoked salmon.
the dessert was excellent we had the cake with almonds.
The service was a little out of whack although our server was nice and attentive, our cappuccinos were not hot and the server had a hiccup with the food. Other wise great place.
Highly recommend wonderful staff tranquil environment
The high-ceilings, well-spaced tables, attentive service, and good food make this a fine spot for indoor dining in these pandemic times. The menu offers interesting choices well prepared and thoroughly delicious. There are many good wines by the bottle or glass, as well as unusual cocktails for those who wish to try them.
I'm glad to have spent such a pleasant evening with my friend at The Milling Room.
Overall fantastic! Ambiance perfect :)
Another great brunch experience at The Milling Room. Consistently great food and service in a beautiful room. Love it.
Super cute fun place! Amazing place! Not super busy! Great service!
10s all around !! Best dinning experience I’ve had in a while, this is a hidden gem. MY FOOD WAS GOOOOOOD!
So beautiful. The appetizers and desserts were especially good, and the service was so warm.
Big open dining room with high ceilings which makes it covid safe. Easy to spread your. Tasty food. Food and drink is pricey!
Very nice setting and service !
Food was okay for the price but I would have liked a bit more creativity in the brunch food that was proposed.
It all seemed rather common.
I’ve eaten here many times and every meal has been great. The grilled dorade with caponata is especially tasty. The cocktails are also really nice. I would highly recommend this place.
Great food, great service, great ambiance. Little pricey but what isn’t these days. Would definitely go back.
We waited like 15 mins to get our server to come and 10 more mins to get a drinks
Just what we were looking for on NY Eve. Good food, adult noise level and ambience, and a distanced setting.
The pasta carbonara was worth the price of admission.
It was our first time and the food was amazing, nice atmosphere, warm lights, and service was great from the the guy who’s name was John.
Thank you for the pleasant New Year’s eve.
It was a lovely NYE dinner. The ambiance was exactly what you’d want it to be and the service was fantastic.
The place is beautiful , however our bartender wasn’t really paying attention , and I also disliked the bar menu . WHI has 4 items on a bar menu for New Years Eve ?? Not that the dinner menu was that much better either , so they absolutely need to do a better job next time .
Menu has become too basic relative in the past. I guess this is due to covid
Spacious, beautiful restaurant. Amazing staff. Incredible food!
Very pretty restaurant. Food was excellent and fresh as always. Service is very friendly. Fair pricing.
Restaurant was not full but service was a bit rushed. Our salad came before drinks. As soon as I put my fork down my plate was taken away even though my dining companion wasn’t finished. Main course came as soon as salad plates were taken away.
Excellent drinks and thoughtful menu
We had a reservation but still waited about 15 mins. Waiter was friendly but took a while to get to us and initially only asked for coffee and tea order. He left before we could tell him we wanted brunch cocktails to start. Service was slow so brunch took about 2 hours total. Food was good, we got dessert as well, toffee pudding and chocolate mousse. It's a nice place if you are looking for a leisurely brunch and not in a hurry.
Music too loud for quiet conversation. Glad to hear all staff members were vaccinated and tables seems far enough apart, though would be better even farther. The outdoor option wasn’t available.
With covid being the main concern, you need to ask people how safe they felt. The rest almost barely matters. We choose the restaurant because of its size (perceived increase in safety), and little else.
It was my friend’s 21st bday.
Amazing food, amazing ambience. Stellar cocktails and wine. Really good pacing between courses. Can't wait to come back!
Food wasn’t worth the price. Drinks were good. Service was odd if that makes sense. Waiter had no sense of humor or personality to deal with public. Also thought he was a regular customer not the waiter.
It’s a beautiful space but there is a poor value. Portions were extremely small. Our food arrived cold and when I spoke to the manager he said he would talk to the chef but made absolutely no effort to compensate for the small portions or check in with us once it arrived a second time. Don’t plan to visit or recommend the restaurant again. Also the place was pretty empty and didn’t have a good vibe.
What a gem! You cannot tell what an inviting place this is from the front view. You follow the corridor to the dining room and it is beautiful, inspiring and warm with extremely high ceilings and deliberate decor. The waiter was outstanding. We had a guest with food issues and he helped with great finesse. The menu selection is outstanding. The wild mushroom soup was a big hit. The gnocchi, honeynut squash and salmon were equally delicious. The selection of desserts hit all palates. This place is great for special occassions or fine dining (not as high priced).
Noisier than we had been led to believe. Otherwise an outstanding dinner, service, experience.
We had a fantastic brunch at The Milling Room, and plan to return soon for dinner! The food was delicious and the restaurant was accommodating of food allergies which is always much appreciated. I could have used a coffee refill, but other than that the service was excellent. The space is really unique, and though it lends itself to being a little bit echo-y I didn't find the restaurant too loud at all - it was easy to converse at our table. Overall a wonderful experience!
