First time there under new name. The last place was well...questionable. This is a bit of an improvement...but...
BBQ steak tips were ordered medium, they came out medium well to well done. Sauce was pretty good. Veggies (green beans) were cooked almost perfect, so were the mashed potatoes. Moscow mule seemed a little weak. Finally, there's a fine line between a server being attentive and overbearing. Our server crossed the line, coming over a minimum of 3 times during our appetizer alone.
Great seating, plenty of room between tables for quiet conversation. I might give it a second shot, but it's not on my "go-to" list of places in the Merrimack Valley at this point.
Food was good . Our waitperson was very nice and efficient
Uncle Joe LOVED his Root Beer Float!! Alissa was awesome!!!
Great food as always. Nice night and location to watch the fireworks last night
We had a rambunctious 2-y/o and the noise level was perfect to mask the occasional loud shout, so we all had a very good dinner experience!
The food was outstanding but the service and hospitality was even better. Had one meal come later than the others by like two minutes. The manager immediately came to the table and insisted to take the cost off the bill. It wasn’t necessary but outstanding customer service . Would highly recommend this restaurant
First time customer. Definitely impressed and will be coming back. Food was awesome and the ambience was perfect for the night
I would not go there again on a date. Much much too loud. Also a constant irritating beep noise in the waiting area near the entrance. The food was average. The service was average.
Great experience like always
Absolutely outstanding food. Hard to get waitress but it was very busy and they were very short staffed. She was very sweet.
Kind of hot in there and maybe furniture just needs to be updated because It didn’t feel very clean - it felt dark, hot (it’s was 95 degrees outside) , fabric seats like couch material just made it feel hot (would prob be amazing in the winter tho) and the tables were knicked a lot, kept thinking it was crumbs but it was just the table.
I would one hundred percent go back there just for the food.
Bartender was excellent service was awesome.
The food was delicious but the service was lacking. 3/4 meals came out immediately 5 mins after the appetizer. One person waited for a cheeseburger and the other 3 ppls meals were cold by the time it came. There were dirty dishes that we cleaned when the next course came. We had no ask for refill of drinks, napkins, etc..it was NOT even busy many open tables. Servers were more concerned about putting on their bar T-shirt’s.
Burger was very bland and came with out cheese that was ordered
Not bad . Good for an average lunchtime
We went to see the live entertainment on the patio. It was great. Service was great. We had the steak tips, they were cooked well done and was chewy. The pizza had way to much cheese.
Good food trash service took 20 mins for a waiter after we sat and then took another 15 mins for a drink you’re better off just getting take out because the food is good
Yummy food yummyytyttytttttttttttttttttyyyyyyy I love it
As we walked in, it smelt fishy. We sat down, waiter got us waters then it went down hill. We ordered fried pickle, steak and then he told us they don’t have fried pickles, steak or chicken pot pie. Said their menu hadn’t been updated online. That was everything we wanted, so we walked out. Wish the waiter would of told us that the menu changed and they didn’t some of the items on the menu.
Our first visit went well. Food and drinks were very good. Seafood casserole would be even better with larger scallops. Caesar salad and macaroni and cheese were both well-done. Portions were large. Lighting was a bit dim. Flooring needs attention.
Nice place. Food is good and the service is good. Easy to make reservations. They have indoors seating or a partial outside or a true outside seating area.
Salmon ceasar salad. Large piece of salmon. Brought dressing on the side which was nice especially since I didn't ask for it on the side.
Disappointing from soup to nuts. We didn't eat either of those, but we did have the worst artichoke/spinach dip we have ever had. Way too much cheese and salt. Our server didn't seem to understand that part of a nice experience is the removal of the dirty plates. The seafood casserole was clearly frozen seafood and lacked flavor, and my tuscan chicken sandwich seemed the same. 1/4th inch thick, dried out, grilled chicken. The cold, cement floor had torn papers strewn about, and the "comfortable" chairs sunk too low for being table-appropriate. A good idea seems to have gone far awry, or just hasn't been developed well enough yet.
The Millers Tavern is more of a sports bar with some tables that have comfy sofa seating. The bar is large and there is some high top and outdoor seating. The atmosphere inside is of industrial and open concept.
Some people might like, but it's not for us older folk.
Fish taco was very good. Really liked the feel of the place too.
Food was exceptional good and the reggae band "Dis and Dat" was spectacular!!
6 of us enjoyed a nice couples/friends night out. Drinks and food were delicious. Waiters and staff were very accommodating with gluten sensitive menu options, and were prompt with services. I recommend this place.
Amazing food. Good service. Very nice place to go to eat
Appetizers were not very good. Gor charcuterie board and spinach artichoke dip and were not pleased with either. Main dishes were good and service was very good. Will give it another try for sure but disappointed with starters.
Miller's tavern was just as all the recommendations said; Very, Very Good! The waitstaff was perfectly attentive; not overbearing, but there as needed. The food was delicious, we were sorry they ran out of Turkey/Chicken Pie but that just goes to show you how popular that dish is! My Seafood Casserole with mashed and green beans was among the best I've had in that commination. Easy access was a plus for a wheelchair also.
Great food, excellent selection, great service.
Our server was excellent. The food was delicious. The only negative was that empty plates and glasses were not removed from the table at all during our visit. We had empty plates and glasses stacked up on our table and were running out of room by the end of the meal.
Waitress was was very nice and food was very good
food was average ......................
Loved the ambiance. The food was good although the fish tacos were way too spicy so I couldn’t eat them. The service was quite slow since it wasn’t that busy at the time, but she was nice.
Amazing food and drinks now friendly staff!
Not much good here. Service and food were spotty at best. I know we are coming out of the pandemic, but please.
The Tavern was very clean and bright. Tables were well spaced. Nice variety of food on the menu. We enjoyed the visit and would recommend The Millers Tavern.
Incredibly slow service when it’s not even busy. Mac and cheese Grilled cheese, wasn’t even grilled, just plain white bread. Ordered steak tips medium-wayyyy over done. Expensive prices for the quality.
We did have a good time, we make a bar reservation and wasn’t available , front desk make sure we got a nice table, food was great, not too crazy about the house margaritas, otherwise great deal , services was on point without been all over us.
We were seated on the "outside" even though it was a bit cold. The food was very bland but the drinks were amazing! A downfall we had was that there was alot of dust falling on to our food from the ceiling. I wouldnt mind trying it again with inside seating and ordering something different maybe.
