   The restaurant was busy and had a lovely lively atmosphere with lots of families enjoying dining together and enjoying each other's company without any loud background music. Our food was freshly cooked, excellent quality and I would particularly like to compliment the service from the lady who served us.

   We went out for a nice evening meal, have been before but a long time ago so felt it was about time to revisit. The service was good, the starters were lovely, the mains were slightly disappointing as the chips were not fully cooked, and the "dip" for the steaks turned out to be cold (not room temperature, but cold) which just felt odd when eating a hot meal. It may be a while before going back

   Very friendly staff, great service. Food is good, nothing amazing. Recommend the award winning pie. Very tasty. Had fish and chips on 2nd visit and the fish was particularly greasy and fairly standard frozen chips. Felt the pie meal was worth the money, but not the fish and chips. I'd go again, but not for the fish...

   Lovely service and lovely fresh food. Our waiter was patient when oh couldn't decide.

   The Milk Churn Pub and Restaurant is a great place for meeting up with relatives and friends for a meal and a drink or two. The staff are always polite and attentive, and the meals are tasty and well presented.

   Okay it was a Sunday at 5.30pm but it wasn’t busy and there were only a couple of other diners in the restaurant. Therefore I cannot understand why we had to wait 30 minutes to be served and then the food was well below par. My daughters steak was burnt as was half my sons burger, the straganoff was bland and not creamy, the fish pie was chewy and did not seem fresh, rather re-heated. We have passed this restaurant on several occasions always meaning to go in, unfortunately we won’t be back

   The food was okay. Sunday lunch was good. My husband says the table had not been cleaned . I thought it is not a fancy pub but okay fur families and straight forward meals. Staff were really nice. Apparently started serving breakfasts as the Travel lodge is across the way. I would try them next.

    3 tables that ordered after ours recieved their food first our waiter on seeing we still had no food had a look of sheer panic went into kitchen then 10 mins later our food arrived we had obviously been forgotten!!! it was only steak and chips pie and chips and a side of onion rings!!! The pie came with 6/7 chips so we asked for more which we got immediately. The steak and chips were nice however the pie was vile, looked like dog meat tasted very cheap and the texture was not good, pastry was tasteless. After clearing our plates we were asked if we would like pudding we said yes and had the quite large pudding black board dumped on our table but after 25 mins nobody bothered to come and ask us what we wanted or even if we wanted more drinks so we gave up paid and left. Certainly wont be retuning any time soon
