Really impressed with the food here, every dish was special. The foccacia, venison tartare and steak especially stood out. Can’t wait to return and enjoy more of the menu!

We love the food and service at the Milbank Arms, James greets us and all the staff make you feel welcome. It's a meat lover's paradise, the wild venison haunch was absolutely delicious and the accompaniments too. Tonight we're being treated to the Chateaubriand steak! Highly recommended.

Fabulous place for Sunday lunch. Absolutely the best in the area and worth travelling for. Great produce, superbly executed, lovely atmosphere, great staff. 11/10!!!

We visited the Milbank Arms on a Sunday lunchtime. I’d read good reviews about the food and we were not disappointed. The roast of the day was beef and it came with delicious roast potatoes, a great Yorkshire pudding, broccoli, roasted carrots and leeks in a cheese sauce. It was absolutely delicious. Our only request was for more gravy and that came very quickly. The Village of Barningham is beautiful and so we had a nice walk after our lunch as well.

Excellent food! Acoustics not great with a noisy family table adjacent, but can be excused given the quality of the food and attentiveness of staff.
