    We were disappointed In the Mexicano. We were seated at a back booth right against hot noisy kitchen. We asked to move which they did. It was 113 outside and they had not only the front door open but also the sliders to the outside patio. It was miserable inside. They must have had several complaints because they closed the door and kicked on the air. Our server was very slow and missing a lot. We had to ask for more water and refills on drinks. Our food took forever and when it did come, it was mediocre. No flavor and the rice was clearly boxed rice. Also, it came with beans and both were in tiny little cups with about two spoonfuls in each. Not comparable to the prices. We did order the guacamole which was great. Thats it though. So disappointed and not on par at all for Maggiore groups other restaurants like Italiano and Sicilian Butcher. Wouldn’t return. Too bad.

    I took my husband and son here and it is our first time at this location and I’m completely impressed. It’s down the street for me so I’ll be going there more often. I would more non spicy options on the menu.

    Trying to have a little understanding because it was Father’s Day but it seemed like they were very under staffed today. I did not reserve the patio but that is where we were seated. 4:30 and 110 degrees was the reason I did not book it. Party of 6 and there were tables for 6 inside available the entire time we ate yet we were told we could not be moved. By the time food arrived about 35 minutes later they had no rice. Poor kitchen planning. I would have ordered additional drinks but as I said service was not attentive therefore their loss.

    The main dinning room was very very warm. We've been in a few times before and it was very cool. So something needs to be done to cool off the main dinning room. I believe it's because the bar and patio area is all open to the outdoors. Not good for the summer hear in AZ. We may not be coming back during the summer time.

    Went in for an early Father’s Day celebration. We loved it! Customer service is always great at this location! We loved our server as well!

    First time at The Mexicano. Chose a table inside, because I thought it would be too warm to sit on the patio. Actually, the patio had misters, so it would have been better to sit on the patio. It was very warm and uncomfortable inside. Service was quick and the waitress was great. Great happy hour specials. Food was average and music was crazy loud and annoying when you are trying to eat dinner. No plans to go back.

    The Mexicano provided a fantastic experience. The interior design was impressive, from the walls and plates to the lighting, creating an ambiance that was both lively and relaxing. The menu offered a wide variety of options, emphasizing authenticity and refinement. We enjoyed the elotes guac, birria buns, al pastor tacos, and empanadas, all of which were full of flavor. Our server was attentive, and the manager made two visits to ensure we were satisfied. Overall, I would rate it a 9 out of 10. The only downside preventing a perfect score was the blended indoor/outdoor seating, which, during the hot Phoenix summer, became uncomfortably warm due to the connection with the indoor space. Closing the bay doors during summertime could help improve comfort.
