    Amazing experience - the menu has a strong variety of key dishes from all Mexico . The service is spectacular like no other restaurant in Dallas and the place is top notch . They have a cigar lounge that is amazing. Highly recommendable place to bring customers , family and friends

    It was a bit of a disappointment vs our visit in January. Service was REALLY slow. We waited forever for our food and the restaurant was quiet. The waiter never cleared our table… we couldn’t believe it. I had the chopped salad with the carne asada… the salad was yummy but the meat was overcooked beyond. It was a business dinner so I didn’t send it back but should have. Cold meat and like rubber. Really not good. The shrimp on the grill were fantastic! As was the creamed corn and cocktails. But I needed to be honest and tell you.

    Sunday brunch was amazing! The yummiest French toast with vanilla ice cream, lobster corn bisque, and steak tacos!!! Delicious!

    We went to The Mexican to celebrate my best friend’s birthday. She was given a hand written birthday card and a free dessert (cuatros leches cake). I thought that was a wonderful touch and she felt really special. It is upscale and pricey, but it’s so worth the money. Our server, Christian, was so professional and attentive. We tried several (strong and tasty) drinks. The seasonal coconut drink and the pepino shots were my favorite. We also had the lobster elote, excellent, guacamole, excellent, the prawns, excellent, the trio of enchiladas, excellent, and the bristec enchiladas, excellent. We had a great time and all of the staff was great. I can’t wait to go back!

    This place has the perfect ambiance for a romantic date. The lighting, music, and overall atmosphere created an intimate setting that made the evening feel truly special. What stood out the most was how attentive the staff were—they made sure my spouse felt celebrated and cared for throughout the night. From personalized touches to thoughtful service, they really helped make it a memorable experience for both of us.

    What a great find!!!! Beautiful ambiance;amazing food; great service!!! So glad we pivoted from the restaurant where the wait time was 2.5 hours. if you haven’t been it’s a must!!
