We've eaten at the Met Bethesda many times, and it's a go-to spot for a bite and a drink, especially before headed across the hall to the Arclight for a movie. Friendly staff, always take good care of us. It can add up quickly if you're more than one cocktail into your pre-movie eats, so pay attention to that. Wife loves the Green Guru salad. Brick Chicken is great, ribs are great - lots of good choices from the fairly short menu.

The food was good and the service was efficient (perhaps on a quiet Wednesday evening). I like the decor and the overall atmosphere in the restaurant. Not sure if it would be a good selection for special occasions since it is next to the theater. Yet, I think I would return to try out some other stuffs during the happy hours.

We made a reservation based on reviewing the brunch and lunch menus on The Met's website. Made a reservation on a Saturday afternoon for the very next day. We arrived to a pretty empty restaurant and were seated promptly. When we were given our lunch menus I asked for a brunch menu and was told "Oh, we no longer do brunch." Had we known, we would have chosen another restaurant. But we stayed because we did not have time to drive somewhere else. No apology from the waiter, followed by lackadaisical service and okay food. One and done at this place.
