   Service was very slow.... complained about the burnt chips and was brought some more equally as burnt..... the crispy crackling on the pork wasn’t crispy and also the waiting staff have no idea about etiquette as using our table to serve someone else’s table isn’t really something you’d expect.... overall disappointed

   Overall a very nice experience. We all had Sunday roasts and the beef was excellent. The belly pork was not so good and a small portion. The staff were very friendly and the service good so everybody had an enjoyable meal.

   Booked a table through Open Table for 7.30 for my wife son and myself. The booking was accepted and confirmed. We turned up to find that the whole restaurant was cordoned off and had been turned into a special events evening. We went to the entrance and were told we could only get in by purchasing a ticket for the event but these were sold out. We then had to go into Alderley Edge to try and get a table in another restaurant which as you can understand, without booking was prat impossible. We ended up waiting over an hour for a table in Gustos. A poor experience all around.

   The service was dire; firstly the waitress decided to memorise our order instead of writing it down (so naturally got parts of it wrong!). Then it took 15/20mins for any drinks to turn up after ordering them. We were given the wrong menus to start off and couldn’t order some of the items on it. Food was really tasty and saved the experience but all in all, the worst service we’ve ever received at such a nice place.

   The restaurant was great. However, they hadn't received our booking from Open Table. This is something that Opentable need to look into. Fortunately they fitted us in.

    To be honest ,a short notice booking was able to be fulfilled,which was on reflection possibly a. Sign.. so on arrival we reported to the bar ,with no expectation apparent we might wish to actually eat there the staff member asked what we would like? No problem. We advised we had booked a table and then We Took our drink to a table and waited to be ask d to go to the dining area, eventually we went to the bar to advise we were ready to eat... were taken to relatively empty dining area . Sorry to say the food was ok but not impressive.....won't be back . Seems the "restaurant"has gone and it's just an out of town place which serves food and drinks and doesn't really know what it should be.Nothing really wrong ....but nothing really right. Sorry team!
