Overall a pretty good experience. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was pretty good. I joked to my wife that we were going to a fancy place, dropping a couple hundred bucks to pretend like we were cooking in a college dorm. The cheese fondu was good, salads were decent, main course was good and the chocolate was amazing. Overall a good place to shake up date night.

Amazing meal and service! Leif was our server and took incredible care to make sure that a gluten allergy was taken into consideration. His service was timely and attentive and the food is heavenly. What’s not to love about meat cheese and chocolate?? Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

I always have a lovely time at the Melting Pot! This time I went for a Mother’s Day lunch instead of dinner and it was still a very nice experience. I recommend doing A La Carte with just the cheese fondue, salad, and chocolate. It’s still plenty of food if you skip the entree.

What a great night in SLC. The Melting Pot is a great friend and family atmosphere that requires attention to food and not cell phone. Service is excellent and the wait through each course is non existent.

The meat came out a bit frozen which really took away from the quality when cooking. Meat should not be “cold” when cooking so really disappointed. I have been to melting pot many times and felt food quality the worst I ever had. Service atmosphere and other courses great, just not happy with experience of main course.

We love the Melting Pot and come hear often, but were sorely disappointed last night. We had a reservation for 5 and didn’t get seated until 540. The service was so slow. We sat for another 20 minutes until we were greeted. We hardly ever saw our waitress and when we did, she was so frazzled that she barely took time at the table…. The kicker was when my friend was in the restroom, he literally saw a male server come out of a stall, tie his apron, and walked out! Gross! This makes me sad because this was our go to date spot, but after last night, we need to find a new place!

Cheap ingredients dipped in cheese and chocolate. Boiled meats all shared in the same pot. High risk of cross contamination between raw meat and your eating plate. Restaurant so humid my clothes were damp and smelled of beef on the way out. Basically paying Rodizio prices to cook your own cheap American hot pot. I would not recommend it to anyone, nor do I know of anyone who's gone back.

We went here for the very first time for our anniversary and now we are obsessed! It was a valentines menu but it was the perfect amount of food. My favorite was the dessert! But all of it was sooo good. Delicious food and such a fun experience. The cocktails were SO good, I had a hard time choosing. And the waitress even brought us a “Happy Anniversary” plate with some chocolate covered strawberries. We will most definitely be coming back!

We had the best experience at The Melting Pot for our wedding anniversary. We were seated promptly in this cute little booth for two. I love that all the booths are private which allows for a more intimate experience. Our waiter, Lief, was absolutely incredible!! He was so easy to visit with, attentive and very knowledgeable. This was our first time doing fondue and we went into the dinner a little apprehensive. Lief made us feel immediately comfortable, explained everything in great detail and was attentive but not over bearing. The food was delicious. We did the alpine signature cheese, the steak lovers and classic for our main course (mojo), and the flaming turtle for dessert. We were so full we took some of our cooked steak home with us, which is nice to be able to do. The cheese was great, the salads were fresh and had good flavor, the meats and mojo cooking style was good, however we’d maybe try the cast iron next time. The dessert took the cake (pun intended) - it was so delicious and the perfect way to end a beautiful meal! We’re so happy we came here for the experience! If you’re reading this and you’re on the edge of whether or not it’s worth the money - do it! It absolutely is!!! And ask for Lief!! You won’t regret it!!

Food was actually pretty good but this place is way over priced. I could have gone to Ruth’s Chris for the same amount of money. We went on a group date to Melting Pot and all in our party said it was good but they wouldn’t go back.

Enjoyed the fact that we were not rushed to get through our meal. Our waitress was very kind and took time to answer our questions and explain how the dining process would work best. Also appreciated the take out boxes for the food we could not finish.
