This Valentine's Day weekend, the Melting Pot is offering a prix fixe 5-Course menu for $85 per person. Looking to add some extra romance to the day? Call us at the restaurant to add rose packages or one of our ultimate platinum experiences to your reservation! (**Valentine's Menu will be the only menu offered on February 13 and 14. All regular menu items will not be available.)

Great waiter!
Slim pickings to choose from these days, however the Melting Pot offers a nice 'outside' solution. Always enjoy the unique nature of our meals at MP, however their prices are really extraordinary for what is offered. The food is tasty and fresh and service is good, but they charge about double what they should.
This was a family holiday get together and met all of our expectations! From the cheese course straight through to the chocolate fondue everything was fantastic! My father is hard to please and when I heard him making pleasure noises I knew we had a hit :-) Patrick was our server and was just fantastic. He was so pleasant and aimed to please. We will be back soon!!

Didn’t think I would be charged for roses and candle🥺😭
We love eating here. The food and service are always great. We've had Eddie as our server a few times. He is always polite, helpful and efficient. They have a new wine flight to pair with each course. The Classis flight had some really good wines. It cost $$20 for 4 glasses of wine and all of them were over $20 a bottle and a few over $30 so well worth the price to try different wines.
The restaurant did a great job with the new COVID rules. We felt very safe with all the precautions the restaurant has taken.

Server Sean L was amazing. The food at the Melting Pot is always consistently delicious. I visited Saturday, 10/31/202 for a date night I've been to the Melting Pot many times but this time I had exceptional service. Sean L was attentive and went above and beyond. A big THANK YOU for Sean L. My date night was a success. As a side note the host did a great job educating me on the St. Jude promotion which is what I ended up ordering. so YUM!!!

It has been almost two years since we have been to the Melting Pot here in Pittsburgh. It used to be a unique experience and an intimate date night. You used to feel all alone with their large booths and dark lighting. Then they moved to their new location, it’s modern, bright and speedy. Fondue is no longer made table side (not just because of Covid), it’s no longer an intimate experience. It’s just another restaurant, the food was okay, nothing wonderful, nothing bad.
1st time I ever went, I think it was nice, for a 1 time experience. It's very exspensive.
Service was outstanding and food was exceptional
The ambiance is not as good as it use to be at the old location. It use to have a very romantic vibe but now it reminds me of a high end tgifridays. Portions aren’t what they use to be either.
It was a wonderful experience, definitely worth trying. Definitely will be back again!

Sarah was a fantastic server. She was very friendly and courteous and she was also very prompt with refills and requests. The food was top notch as always and we appreciate the great food and service we receive at The Melting Pot! Thanks to the whole staff for another great experience!

Let me preface this by saying that I’m not a huge chain person. My daughter wanted to try it out, and I agreed. It’s a fun trip, but really, the quality of the food is sub par for what you pay. This isn’t a pittsburgh specific experience - had the same experience in Charlottesville (this time it was my son who was dying to try it). So, overall, it’s fun. A good place to get your kids off of their devices because they have to actively pay attention to their food - that should get it an extra star, actually. But if you want excellent food or good value, try a local chef!

Not sure why they ask for occasion when no one recognized our sons birthday. It wasn’t a busy night and as server’s walked by table they kept trying to take our food not eaten yet. Server adjusted fondue and it burnt at bottom some. He had temperature so high my son reached across pot and steam burned his wrist due to temperature so high. It by far wasn’t a busy night and with social distancing us being out helping restaurant the experience could have been far better for my son’s favorite place to eat on his birthday. Maybe they just had a bad night. Last visit someone fired a waitress and all she did was curse on way out door.
It was a great experience overall. Our waiter was great, everything was clean and following CDC guidelines which made me feel very safe eating here during a pandemic. The only downside was the table we were seated at which was in a very odd location (like between two walk ways) and the table was much taller than the chairs which made it a bit awkward and less enjoyable.
