Food is fire as always. 2nd time here. Service was a little slow but that’s okay it was a large group party so we understood. Just wish that other customers would watch their language and volume. A table diagonal to us was loud and used profane language with no consideration for others. Other than that my boyfriend James and I truly enjoyed his birthday dinner. Shoutout to the manager James who coincidentally shares the same name as my birdied. He took great care of us and took an excellent photo as part of our package. He was outstanding and hilarious. This is why we love coming to this location. Never tried the VA beach one but I doubt we will - truly are loyal customers to this location!

I took my husband to dinner for his birthday. Upon our arrival the hostess informed us that, although we had a reservation, she couldn’t tell us when we’d be seated. We got a table about 30 minutes late. We were seated in what appeared to be a back hallway with very little ambiance. As we walked back I noticed how dirty the floor was with trash and food. While we sat at the bar having a drink before they seated us, I noticed the barstools had torn leather and the bar was sticky. Yuck! Once seated, our server didn’t turn on our pot before bringing the first course which led to an awkward delay while he stood there waiting for the pot to heat up. When he brought out our entrees and the accompanying sauces, he didn’t have any spoons for us to use to get the sauces. When we asked for some he noted they were being washed. I have no idea how he thought we were going to get them onto our plates. Bottom line, it felt like a second rate experience. Not one I’m used to at the Melting Pot. Won’t be back.

The enviroment was pleasant. The arrangement of the tables enables you to enjoy your meal without being disturbed by the aromas from other patrons cooking at their tables. The menu has a variety of choices including gluten free and vegetarian selections. The pace of the meal was not rushed, and the quality and quantity was worth the price.

Your paying over a hundred something for the experience which requires you to cook your own food. Now if the food was already cooked, that’s something but it took us literally over two hours to get through dinner. Not worth it unless your going just for dessert

It was my birthday. The food was great. But we had a couple mishaps in the beginning. The server spilled ice cold water on the table that fell onto me and my son. The server never apologized. She left and got another glass of water instead of cleaning up the mess right away. They wiped down what they could. We sat down and it was still went. She then spilled another glass, but this time I caught it. Again, no apology. At the end of our meal she did end up apologizing after the server that was shadowing her told her it was her fault both times. I tried not to let it get to me in the beginning, but still not a great start to our dinner. Everything ended well though.

Mike was our server. Greatest personality for a server and we had a blast. We couldn’t believe we spent 4 hours there but after a friends long deployment, it was much needed. Jen was the manager on duty. I love to see when a place is busy that managers step up and help. That’s how things should be. Overall a great team here and lots of teamwork going on, at least with who I encountered.

I had never been to Melting Pot until my wedding anniversary. Now, it's my favorite place to go for a special date night. They have my favorite wine too! My husband and I will alternate around the different cheeses, but we always get the dark chocolate. It's my favorite! I'd eat here once a month if the budget allowed for it lol service was phenomenal today as well! Can't recommend this place more.

The manager came over several times to make sure we were having a great experience. Very professional and helpful staff. The food is always delicious here. We were stuffed and had to take most to go.
