Saddened to see our favorite cheeses and chocolates were no longer on their menu. Stopped by for the happy hour special and had to settle for other options. Our serve

Food was amazing as always! The managers are always so friendly and accommodating! The server wasn’t the friendliest, that we were used to. Maybe it was the hour? Seemed we annoyed him, didn’t tell him about our wrong order we didn’t want to make it any worse. However we ate it because the food is always enjoyable. Will return though!

We love the melting pot because it is always an event as well as a good meal. We were celebrating a special occasion and our choice of restaurant made it more special. Service and food were both excellent. It made it a plus that we were there during restaurant week. A little disappointed with the price of the dessert course. It was $20 additional for the kids just for dessert. That seems kind of steep. A little over priced over all but we enjoyed ourselves.

Our second time at this location. We were party of 4 at a double burner table so we got to have 2 different cooking pots/style for each course which was to really great, you could mix it up even more this way. We "settled" for a very early dinner on a Sunday afternoon which also worked well. You can expect to spend at least 2 hours here and by the time we were finished it was "regular" dinner hour and honestly we were all full and satisfied. We had the same server as our1st visit and she is very good...knows the menu and knows how to talk to people without being an annoyingly over-eager overly-cheerful chain restaurant server. My kids love the "cook your own food place!" They're 8 and can handle a fork. My wife and I had avoided MP for a few years because we both felt it had lost something in the experience, but our faith has been restored. We will return.

I booked for my sons birthday not knowing restaurant week started the same day. That was a pleasant surprise. Cheaper prices without skimping out on portion size. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional! Our waiter was Jared and I must say he was excellent! Very pleasant, friendly and efficient. Assistant Manager Alexis also stopped at our table to make sure we didn’t need anything. I would definitely recommend the Maple Shade Melting Pot.

Last minute decision to go that ended up being well worth the trip. They had a "Game Day Special" going on that was a great price.

The awesomeness of this evening started with a call from the restaurant explaining that they no longer offered a celebration package that was picked along with a sincere apology and an offer of a new option. This was a date night / early birthday celebration. I was worried with such a late hour reservation (9:30 pm) some quality of service would be missed out. Much to my delight I couldn’t have been more wrong. Our waiter Ryan was on top of things with each course as well as patient and helpful when we had a hard time deciding on our selection. Even though we said we had been guest previously entree selections, recommendations, and cooking times were thoroughly explained.

While the quality of food was good and the experience was nothing less than excellent I find the price point brought the total value down. Not so much that I wouldn’t do it again, but enough that it’s not feasible to do more often. In all honesty you can get a better quality, more filling dinner at a quality restaurant. I understand that you’re paying for a curated experience, however when looking at the cost analysis for the restaurant I feel they could either offer bigger portions or a lower price point.

NYE party and the meal was fantastic. Went out on limb and tried something different and it was fantastic.

Pricy but WELL WORTH IT. Wait staff was phenomenal and took time to explain everything.

Recommend this for special occasions.

Everything was great ...the only issue I had was that we ordered specialty coffees(2 different ones ) and when they were brought out the waitress put them down and said sorry I don't know which one is which and walked away?? No offense for the price of that coffee she shud have know which one was what so we didn't have to taste test to tell.

My brother came for the holiday and we wanted to bring him somewhere different. Having been to Melting Pot a couple times and loving it, we decided to bring him for the experience. We didn’t do the full experience, just cheese and chocolate, but it was a great time. For the cheese we got the new buffalo cheese, which was delicious! For the chocolate we got the new candy bar chocolate with caramel and peanut butter in it. That tasted fantastic! I just want to mentioned that our server was very sweet and into her job. She mentioned that she was newer just back for a school vacation, I don’t remember her name... but she was great. I had a fun time, delicious as always. I can’t wait to come back for the full experience sometime soon :)

Restaurant was not at all crowded and we can see why after eating here. While the waiter was extremely nice and personable the service was extremely bad. Brought wrong salads out twice, incorrect entrees. Glasses and mugs were very dirty like they were not washed or even rinsed out. The wait time for food once seated was astronomical for a restaurant that was less then half full and had zero wait. It appeared there was plenty of staff walking around. The food when served correctly was good but the cleanliness and service was not at all acceptable.

We had a fabulous time! My husband took me for my 31st birthday. I hadn't been in over ten years and that was their old Center City location. My SO had never been, nor had he ever had fondue. He LOVED it! His favorite part was the Teriyaki steak and the desert, I highly recommend the s'mores! We made a 7:45 reservation and didn't leave until 10PM! We needed to be rolled out, we were so stuffed! Our waiter, Nick, was great. I overcooked my shrimp so he brought me out a new plate of them. Overall, we had a wonderful time! This is still, hands down my favorite restaurant! I'd love to go more than once every ten years, unfortunately they're quite expensive and I could only go because we had a $100 gift card.
Delicious food, great service, fantastic time, perfect birthday!

Typically I love the Melting Pot experience, but the service all around was very slow from the drinks to the various courses. It is pretty expensive to have a just okay experience.

My wife and I went on Sat 12/9/17. Our waiter, Marcus, was engaging and informative, as it was our very first time there. But, he did speak very quickly, and had to be asked to repeat himself several times, which he did without hestitation.
We ordered the four-course meal (cheese, salad, entree, dessert), and we thought it was a bit overpriced, at $45 per person, for what we got, considering you also have to do the labor of cooking your own entrees. But, alrhough the quabtity of food may be skimpy, the food quality is very good, and our one issue was quickly corrected to our pleasure.
We had ordered our cheese appetizer, supposedly a take-off of french onion soup, based on the "wine-infused sautéed onions" that were noted in the menu description, because we love sauteed onions. The onions that were used instead was a "red onion relish" (per Marcus), which he said was made off-site. Well, it completely ruined the cheese flavor, as I don't like raw onions and it didn't taste like french onon soup at all! When we questioned Marcus about the onions, he immediately got the manager. She said that the onions were in fact sauteed right there in the restaurant, but she also very quickly had Marcus remove the offending pot of cheese so we couldn't argue the raw vs. sauteed aspect by pulling a piece of onion out of the pot. She quickly offered us a different replacement cheese, which we chose the "loaded potato", and it was delicious. We would recommend going there for dessert, as it was fabulous. We do intend to return...but, we will only be going there for dessert from now on.

My wife and I were going for our anniversary. We get seated the waiters was great! She explained everything. We order our food and drinks. When the drinks came they looked nice.... there was very very little alcohol and the price for a small glass was almost $10. The cheese came and went without a problem. My wife is a vegetarian the meal she ordered was with tofu, artichoke, aspargras, mushrooms and some weird looking ball of stuff. The tofu tasted like a sponge soaked in terriki with extra extra salt. The mystery ball she refused to eat it because of how it looked and how everything else tasted. My food was ok. I could of gone to another resturant and gotten more delicious food for less money. The chocolate was ok. We got our bill that was just about $200 that was for 2 4 course meals and 4 drinks. The last drink I received was a splash of juice and ice. I will never go back. I should of listened to everyone who said don't go there.
P.S. it's only cause you asked.

I have been to The Melting Pot before and had great experiences. This was my first time at this location and it was awful. It started out good but progressively got worse. My reservations were for 5:15pm and we didn't leave the restaurant till 9pm. Everything was good until the temperature started dropping, it got so cold that my nose was running. People around us were leaving too because of how cold it was. Not to mention the hair in the lobster and the fact we waited 40mins in between the main cooking and the chocolate pot. We had to take our chocolate to go because it was so cold. This was my birthday dinner from my boyfriend and I could have picked anywhere. The management ended up comping our check, which was nice but i would have preferred a better experience.

My girls love fondue but have never been to a fondue restaurant. My 5 and 7 year olds loved every minute of the 4 course meal.
The service was excellent and each course's portion was the perfect amount, left just enough room for the chocolate fondue!

Wasn't very busy yet me and my date were forgotten about we didnt even get to experience true dessert part of our 4 course meal, yet we were charged the full rate. My date actually had to get up n go to the kitchen to locate an employee so that someone could give us our check. It was our 1st time and the menu seemed to be explained in a rush. On top of us being put in the corner away from everyone when there were bigger spacious table booths all over. Maybe then they may have remembered us. Over all the excitement n waiting so long to try I read reviews n it was nothing of what I read. I thought it was rude to bill us a full course meal and not provide that to us. No desire to return. The fondue delight was an ok choice the chicken and shrimp are horrible choices but the steak and lobster was actually good. The Cesar salad was good, and the sunrise sangria was iced up n watered down. Can't say what the chocolate was because like I said we were left in the corner forgotten about
