Everything was perfect! We enjoyed our “Thursdate”. The ambiance, the rose petals, and the candle on the table were a nice touch! The food was incredible as always and our server Jacob did a fabulous job!
This was the first time I have been back since they opened and it was amazing as always. Will be dining again very soon.
It was extremely nice yet service took a while.
Boom server was great
Excellent service. Also, employees took significant safety precautions. Highly recommend.
Our reservation was lost and the manager was not particularly apologetic about it. She ultimately sat us at the bar and the service and food was excellent.
Charlie and our Waitress Did an amazing job helping me celebrate my mother and her 65th birthday. Always a great time slow and steady just how we like to dine out!
Service was horrendous. We were a table of 8 and we’re never offered additional bread,
Perhaps due to covid and just reopening but dinner took longer than 2 hours. Meal itself was great. I don’t like to complain but our waitress smelled horribly of cigarettes, my kids even noticed. That is very unappetizing.
We had a wonderful evening, as always!
Great night with my love
Very good spot for date or special occasion.
The food was delicious as always. The restaurant got busy, but Jessica was. Good server who checked on my table through the night.
The restaurant was clean and inviting. The service was very slow. The manager ended up helping us when she saw us just sitting there with empty bowls of cheese. She ended up bringing us our next course. I believe there was not enough wait staff in the restaurant.
We go here ALOT. As a matter of fact, we were just here 2 weeks ago. We were rushed through our meal. She brought us our chocolate before the fries for my cheese were gone. Then while we just started the chocolate, she brought the check! 17 minutes went by and my dippers were gone and she never came back to the table. Pretty crappy experience for as much money as we spend at this location.
We were out celebrating our son’s birthday! We had an amazing time! We will definitely be coming back!
Food was good and service was adequate but my sons 9th birthday garnered a hand written happy birthday note on the check and nothing more.
Valentine’s Day for my mom, my sister, and I. Super fun!
Jennifer and Josh were so wonderful to us! We were celebrating my significant other’s birthday and we’ve been coming to the Melting Pot for our last 5 birthdays and anniversaries together and it’s always such a great experience from the time we are seated to the time we walk out the door. The food is spectacular, the service is always courteous and timely, and the dessert just makes the night. We will be back soon!
The menu is confusing, especially when your server can’t explain it clearly enough with the different courses. Considering that you have to cook your own food, it shouldn’t take 3 hours to eat your dinner. We put that it was a birthday celebration in our reservation and mentioned it to our server upon getting seated, and there was no birthday acknowledgement brought to our table, despite hearing them all night at surrounding tables. You get very little food for the expensive price tag. It’s a neat place for something different but we won’t be going back anytime soon. If we do, it’ll probably just be for dessert.
Service could have been better. Waiter did not appear to have experience working during peak dining hours. Tablet style order taking seemed more of a nuisance. Server couldn’t find items in tablet which prolonged order taking. He brought the wrong food to the table after a 20-25 min wait. Considering the food in raw, this is an excessively wait time
Waited too long for drinks and waitress. My husband actually went to the bar to grab a glass of wine because there was no one to be found.
We went to the melting pot in maple shade for Valentine’s Day. We were seated in a little cubby hole towards the back which was fine. We ordered drink which never came. We ended up having to order them a second time. We ordered our meals and the food was very good. When we were done however our waiter was no where to be found. We waited 25 minutes for him before we flagged down another waitress to find him. Another 15 minutes went by before he showed up. It took yet another 20 minutes to get our check. So basically we sat for over 60 minutes waiting to leave. Do not think we will be back to this restaurant.
Delicious dinner. Waiter was great.
Very nice experience!!
Very poor service. We waited over 30 minutes for our drinks and had to ask several times for our food. It is very expensive and not worth the money.
Started with the restaurant not able to find our reservation, although I had confirmation and showed it. Manager wiped off a table right near front entrance and seated us, when we went to sit down, chairs had food on them and the floor was covered in dropped food, glasses, etc, absolutely disgusting. We said something again and they re-cleaned the area. We then sat for 15 minutes before a server came to us, we also had no menus, and asked twice where our server was. My wife asked for the manager who proceeded to say it was her (Kristin) and that she would be with us in a moment, however she never came over to speak to us. Not once through the entire meal did she acknowledge us or ask us how things were, especially after the fiasco in the beginning. Our server Lauren was very cheerful and personable, so that helped to make up for the beginning of the experience. Food was excellent. Although the waitress was good, everything took so long to get. I recognize that the Melting Pot meals are usually up to 2 hours, but we were in that restaurant for a total of 3 hours and 45 minutes - completely unacceptable. I did complain upon leaving and they gave me a $15 certificate to come back to the same restaurant, don't think its happening. Manager definitely did not seem to care about her customers, and not to mention the entire restaurant was filthy, food all over the floor wherever you walked, bathroom was a mess, paper towels all over the floor...won't be returning...and all this was for my wife's birthday dinner, couldn't have been less special :(
Great as always.
We visited the Maple Shade NJ location. It had been about a year since our last visit. I take my wife for her Birthday. The menu was slightly different, some new choices. Service was GREAT
Owner was friendly and present the entire evening. Our server was very personable. Great food, great service, great night.
The staff was visibly overwhelmed by a crowded restaurant. Service was slow. We asked for a piece of lemon for water and the server brought it with his bare hand.
We have been to melting pot many times. However, this experience was not a good one.
Melting Pot is just so much fun, and when we received a gift certificate for Christmas, we were THRILLED!
Sadly, the Melting Pot closest to our home was in Atlantic City, NJ, and that has closed. We knew that we'd have to drive an hour to enjoy our gift... it was well worth it!
We were seated immediately upon arrival, and our server Josh was friendly and professional. He guided us through our evening with terrific suggestions and lots of laughter!
Our food was just delicious, and I enjoyed a flight of win that was perfectly paired with my meal.
Looking forward to our next trip!
Host was horrible. Waited almost 40 min for our reservation even though the tables were empty. Server took 2.5 hours for our meal.
Service was very slow. Hardly saw our waitress. The kitchen lost our entree order. Took about additional 20 minutes, waited for another 10 minutes for refills on drinks. No managers came over to check on us.
Hands down the WORST dining experience I've had at a melting pot restaurant. We came in with a reservation and had to wait at the hostess stand for 5 minutes while she stared at the computer. During our first course, the cheese, did not melt. The liquid separated from the cheese and was not warming up. We raised the temperature on the burner ourselves because our waiter Joshua was MIA. When the cheese pot was removed, something must have overflowed onto the burner and continued to burn resulting in a horrible smell which stayed with us for the rest of the night. We had a longer conversation with the bus boy than our actual waiter. When we informed the waiter about the issue with the cheese, he excitedly offered to add fries onto our main course. We declined the offer. The drinks we ordered upon arrival were never bussed off our table until we asked to speak with the manager at the end of the night. After sharing our experience with the GM, she returned with two $15 discount cards which expired in 3 months. Needless to say we left them on the table and will not be returning.
Always a good time! Wish it was a little less costly as the portions are small and the (spoiled) kiddos in my life love going here, but the service is always great.
Great food and great service
Good food and good wait staff, but very slow. Dinner took 3 hours.
