Great experience overall. Service is aleays spot on! Food came put in good speed and we didn't feel rushed at all! Only thing is we had chosen the emdless entree and staff didn't ask us about wanting more (turned out ok, but expected them to at least ask/offer).

We went here for our anniversary. It was also our first time here. I put in our reservation that it was our anniversary and when we checked in we were told happy anniversary by the hostess and our server. They also placed a card at our table too. That was so thoughtful! I loved our table area. More tucked in in the back of the building like our own private area. The only issue I had was they put another couple right next to ours so we could hear them talking even with walls up around our table. But we didn't let that ruin our evening. We did the experience for 2 and it was worth it. We each were able to pick our own entree choices and we loved that, so we didn't have to share meats. Everything was delicious and we loved the dessert fondue part! Portions were good sizes too. You'd think with the little portions you get, you would still be hungry. That is not the case here! Don't let your eyes fool you! And make sure you cook your food through. Its hard to tell with the lights so dim, but we just left ours on the grill a bit longer just in case. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

I loved our visit to the melting pot. Due to Covid - I was a little surprised that an extra plate or napkin could be available for the forks that went in/out of the pots. Also since we handled our food to get it on the prongs it would have been nice to have a hot towel at the end of the dinner - or at least some wipes for our hands.

Overall nice meal, but they must have been short handed because the service was subpar. Have been here three or four times previously and has been very nice with really good service. Just not this time unfortunately. Forgotten orders, taking too long to get our order, having to repeat our order because waiter forgot it. Shame because it was for a friend’s birthday. Still made the best of the evening though.

My husband and I went to celebrate my 40th Birthday and it was an incredible experience. There were chocolate dipped strawberries and a card signed by all of the staff at our table for my birthday and that was very special.

After we were seated, it took over 20 minutes for our server to assist us. We had a reservation. Other patrons were being seated and immediately assisted by their server, however ours did not. At this point, there were approx. 4 other tables in service. Our server saw us as we were diagonal from the table he was serving. Still after no acknowledgement, we went to the front of the restaurant and grabbed a manager for assistance.
We gave our drink order to the manager as our server still had not come to the table. We were comped 3 drinks ~a beer, a glass of wine, and a kiddie cocktail to make up for the "mix-up". After that, the service became rushed as 2 tables of 4 were seated directly behind us.
There was too much garlic (about 2 tablespoons of garlic is the guesstimate as they pour it into the pot while you are watching) in the cheese fondue. He was quickly trying to get through the service. The cheese fondue was awful, but we continued to eat it as we didn't want to have to have it thrown away, or become more disappointed because we would need a new one. We moved onto the meat/shrimp and it was suggested to use the broth. However the broth never quite heated up so we moved to oil. At this point, the server now has 4 tables. The manager did come back and check on us, as our server did not have the time. We planned on dessert fondue when the reservation was made as we were introducing our son to fondue. The dessert fondue was nothing special. Just a small amount of heated chocolate and small pieces of dippers. This first fondue experience we wanted our child to have was a disappointment.

My Birthday Party was special, and fun, just make sure you plan enough time, otherwise they rush it, but other than that, it was perfect and so much fun! I definitely recommend! its more fun as group! :)

I wanted the 2 for $99 deal when I made the reservation. However by the end, I must have initially got the wrong menu and had a check for $200 for the whole meal. Was pretty upset but didn’t want to make a scene in front of my significant other. Was pretty disappointed in the whole thing. The food was okay but everything was just put off by the end total for me.
For the second visit in a row the hostess was awful. First visit we were told there were no tables. Only booths. Even though we’ve been to the restaurant several times and there are tables. She looked at us like we were idiots. Followed by her telling her “it’s going to be a long wait. We’re busy tonight”. The wait was less than 2 minutes. No idea what that’s as all about.
We came in again for Valentine’s Day and the hostess and a gentleman helping the hostess completely ignored the fact that we walked in the door and we’re standing right in front of them for close to five minutes. Once we were acknowledged they checked us in and told us other people were ahead of us.
Although there was nobody ahead of us. Only people coming in being greeted and being shown a seat. Only until after I said something where we seated.
Once you get past the front door, the restaurant is great. I ignored it the first time, but being in management I wanted to make sure the manager knew this was going on for two separate visits.
Had a reservation for my wife and I for our Valentines dinner. Showed up and was seated way back in an overflow type room where barriers were set up to split large party tables even though there were multiple tables open in the normal dining area as we passed. We could not sit across from each other had to sit cramped beside each other which meant I had to sit sideways in my chair to look at her to talk. It was cold had to put my winter coat back on. After 25 minutes of waiting we had not seen a server at all. Was never offered water or anything by anyone. The manger walked into the room to check it, I guess to see if it was set up the way he wanted, and totally ignored us. The hostess sits another couple in the main dining area where I can see since I have to face that way to talk due to the seating. They must have been special cause that table along with another table in the main dining area had been open the entire time. Needless to say after watching a server go to them after they sat down for less than 2 minutes, we knew we had been forgotten. First time trying to eat here and our last! Left the pot steaming with our menus on the table. Told the hostess as I left who said she was sorry but never offered to get a manager or anything! So avoid this place is my opinion. On the bright side found a awesome Japanese Fusion Bar downtown with excellent food to save the date.
I’m honestly at a loss for words how unbelievably terrible our service and food was at the Melting Pot. Absolute BELOW POOR in every single way possible from start to finish. Appalling.
I think the food is absolutely delicious. Especially the dessert but, I think it's a little over priced.

Specified on reservation that I didn't want to sit in the bar. Ended up getting seated in a bar booth. Loud, no ambiance. Food was excellent though.

Ate in Lover's Lane to celebrate my daughter leaving for a study broad experience in London. Service was friendly and timely. Andrea was especially a star, thank you! While cheese and chocolate are our faves here, everything is always delicious. Can't wait to come back.
We have been going here many years, we went tonight and it was the worst experience of almost any restaurant. We have always been impressed with this restaurant’s timeliness and courteous servers who walk through the process and make it a fun experience. Tonight our server took about 15 minutes to greet us at our table. Took about 20 min between each course, no apologizing for late service, no warning of hot plates or how to cook meat without contaminating your plate. We went to talk with the manager after and he seemed to have no actual remorse for the situation. He just said a lot to servers called in. Manager and hostesses were just standing around while the rest of servers were drowning. They didn’t seem to have much teamwork. We will never be going there again. We were there celebrating a birthday and they never mentioned it and all ended up leaving there upset.
It was an excellent dining experience for Christmas Eve Dinner, and can’t wait to go back.
Took my wife out for a date night. This was our first time ever being there and we enjoyed it a lot. Our server was very pleasant and the food was delicious! We both enjoyed the change in pace and structure, with how the meal is delivered and made- opposed to the normal sit down restaurant. Overall great experience.
The experience was horrendous. Reserved for a birthday two weeks in advance. Called 30 min ahead and reminded about the birthday. Our server had no idea it was for a birthday. We were seated 10 min late and by 40 min after arriving we still didn’t have an ounce of food. We were beyond starving. We were freezing too. My wife spent the full meal with her winter jacket on. The rest of us froze. Appetizers arrived 45 min after we were seated, entres arrived 90 min after being seated. Whole experience was crazy. My wife and I didn’t want dessert so we were charged $10 more, each of us, than our kids. No joke. I don’t know how they stay in business. And our waitress, Alyson, kept vanishing for 15-20 minutes at a time. She clearly had too many tables. Spent $210 for dinner for 4, including an 11 year old and a 14 year old. Abominable experience. Steer clear of this restaurant.

Dining process was very poorly explained. Would have waited for over an hour for the entree if we had not asked the waitress. This is when we were told how the dining process actually works at The Melting Point. The value of the food for your money is horrible. You are much better off going to a normal restaurant for this price.

This is a wonderful place. We sat at he bar and received wonderful service and advice from our bartender. The food was very good and fun to cook. It was a little pricey but worth the visit.
