The Melting Pot - King of Prussia Ratings and Reviews
It was our first ever experience and also the surprise dinner date for my husband on our anniversary eve... We really loved the food, the ambience, the fondue..... and specially my husband enjoys this surprise dinner date thoroughly.... I recommended the place to many of our friends.... absolute place to be with your loved ones
Totally blown away by The Melting Pot. My son took myself and my husband there for our birthday. First time for all of us. I wasn’t sure what to expect but couldn’t stop talking about it after we left. Food is fresh, fabulous and FUN!! Highly recommend fiesta fondue! I’m telling everyone about this place. Definitely worth the 55 minute drive & can not wait to return!!
It was our first time there. Food was phenomenal, service was perfect and the atmosphere was both laidback and enjoyable but for us, it was romantic enough for a date night. Quite the experience! Over all, we had an amazing time and would recommend to everybody.
The food is always wonderful. However, this time our experience was spoiled by 3 tables that allowed their children to run wild all over the restaurant. Sadly, even though this was a safety concern (servers with heavy trays and boiling pots being carried around), in addition to a disturbance, the staff did very little to ask the parents to make the kids behave. There were 2 birthday parties between 6 & 7 on a Friday night and the kids were running back and forth in screeching groups to the bathroom. The chaperones seemed to think this sugar, peer influenced behavior was just fine since the kids were having fun & it was a party. There was no regard for everyone else who was paying a significant amount of money for a nice evening out. If Melting Pot allows this to go on, they will be no better than McDonalds!
Dinner at the Melting Pot is not just dinner - it's an experience. Perfect for a date, the tables are intimate and somewhat secluded. Plan to spend a few hours there as you cook and eat your 4 course meal. All the food is delicious, and the service is excellent. It's perfect for a special occasion.
The Melting Pot in KOP was amazing and made my surprise engagement amazing. They were professional, knowledgeable, and never once made me think that my boyfriend was planning on proposing to me. The presentation was amazing as well as the dish with my engagement ring was perfect. They made me feel unbelievably special for the night. The evening was perfect and will absolutely recommend it to everyone and anyone.
My waiter was awesome and very friendly. The atmosphere was very intimate. My son loved his food and he was so excited to cook his own food.
I also love when i am sent emails about deals or events you are having because it can get a little pricey to order from the original menu.
Our server Tim was amazing and made sure we were taken care of. I loved the staff for accommodating the rose petals on the table and the small candle light. The card was very thoughtful. I would go here again and hope Tim would be serve us again.
My kids LOVE The Melting Pot. I like the dim lighting and coziness. I would go so much more if it was not so overpriced. We just get cheese and chocolate...not meat or anything. When 1 adult and 2 kids costs $90 for cheese and vegetables it gets cost prohibitive to go as much as we would like.
I really didn’t enjoy cooking my meal. I think the meals should be cooked and then fondues served with the meals. We had vegetables with our meal and would of liked the cheese fondue to dip our vegetables in. By cooking our own meals with one pot just made it a long night. I also thought your drink prices are way overpriced. We ordered ice tea and it was almost $4.00.
Our Server Tim was outstanding. He took great care of us. Explained the menu, options, made suggestions. The rest of the staff was great to everyone was very nice. Manager stopped by to make sure we were alright. Just a wonderful time we had ,Made our 10 yr anniversary complete.
This is my fourth visit to this location. The ambiance is always nice and the meals are entertaining and of good quality. We took our son for his birthday and they were nice about it without having the waitstaff sing a hokey song that is embarrassing. Steve our waiter was fantastic. Very helpful and professional. The only issue was that the restaurant was not crowded and we were seated next to a table of obnoxiously loud and drunk ladies. Their waiter seemed to take pride in getting them even more spun up. It very much killed the mood of an otherwise pleasant experience.
Great night out if you enjoy the company of your partner. Expect to spend 2 hours for your 4 course meal.
We visit 3 - 4 times a year (without the kids) just to enjoy a relaxing night out.
Very friendly, very customer oriented, and very knowledgeable about what is on the menu. Have never had a problem ordering something that was no longer on the menu, they were always willing to go the extra step to make our night perfect.
Very nice experience overall. Wife thought the items (Big night out) were too pricey and too spicy. She did say California salad with raspberry vinaigrette dressing was best she had ever had. The dark chocolate fondue with Baileys was by far the highlight. That alone would make a trip worth while. Not a every night kind of place, but definitely an every now and then for sure kind of place.
Both my boyfriend and my first time at the melting pot. Our server Emma was new, but so nice and helpful! She explained everything to us, and gave us some good tips. We went with the four course option for one, which proved to be plenty of food, especially considering you get endless dippers to go with your cheese, entree, and dessert! Glad we paced ourselves! A nice ambiance, but a little dark. The food was very good, but I wouldn't say great. But overall a wonderful experience!
