Our waitress Ashley was an excellent host for me and my girlfriend. I loved the experience and the food, and most of all the people.

Tim always delivers! The meal was over the top amazing, the service was fantastic, and the restaurant is clearly taking covid protocols very seriously and we felt safe. Please consider bringing back the Alpine cheese to the menu...we know we can still get it since you have the ingredients on hand and Tim knows how to prepare it, but we worry for the day when either of those things change. Thanks for delivering a consistently fantastic product and experience!

We couldn’t have had a better experience, especially during covid. We felt safe at all times and I even received a text when the table was ready. Our waitress Erika was nothing short of amazing! She knew everything about the menu and answered our questions beyond expectation! We had an amazing Valentine’s day dinner!

Theresa was a great waitress had a lot of patience we had a 3 year old with us and my husband had a gluten allergy. She was very conscious of making sure he was safe.

The Melting Pot does a great job. They re-opened this week after the COVID restrictions were lifted. They have everyone spaced apart, the restaurant is very clean and it was an amazing meal as usual.

The food and service were good, just loud table next to us with waiter flirting with group of girls. Unprofessional.

Unfortunately, this is the first bad review I’ve left for this restaurant. A few things combined together to make the experience really bad:

1)They no longer allow individual portions of cheese. So if you have a two burner table and want to accommodate an allergy by putting one person in their own pot, you have to buy two portions of cheese. There’s just no reason not to make a single portion when the occasion calls for it. It’s the same amount of work, less food. I can see charging a little more for it, but forcing customers to buy two portions is just unnecessarily hostile.

2)The garlic and wine seasoning is no longer offered “because COVID” the server said. We wanted to change our entrée choices because that really makes a difference, but she was nowhere to be found.

3)Which is the next point – normally servers stop by the table several times per course. We saw our server once per course – when she dropped the course off. No refills on dippers (because she never came to ask until the next course was literally in her hand), no way to change out entrees because she never came back. Refills on drinks just had to wait. We ended up burning our cheese waiting for her to come back.

4)No manager ever came by the table. Typically, the manager stops by, introduces themselves, and says to reach out if you need anything. The one time in all these years we actually needed one, nowhere to be found.

Either we just came on a bad night, or things are going down hill fast. We will not be returning, and will be using the Wilmington location instead, which is cheaper and more attentive.

Started out with cheese and it was perfect. The stake lovers was amazing! Server was great. Talked with the owner she is always so nice and caring.

Absolutely fantastic!!

My family celebrated my daughter’s 9th birthday. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the host. Mikey was our server & he was excellent. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained the menu in great detail because it was my parents’ first time there. Thank you! We’ll be back!

Autumn was a fabulous server. She was very personable!

Our waiter was spectacular. He was very patient and had a good time taking care of us. He explained things very well and helped us in our decision making. He just did a great job. Couldn’t thank Mikey enough.

My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary and received outstanding service! Our server, Erika was extremely helpful and went out of her way to make sure we had a great time. We also felt extremely safe during the pandemic. Highly recommend!
