Great place, food and service.
My daughter and I went to Melting Pot. We love Alexander and all the staff, but I’m not sure if we will be going as much because the prices went up with the new menu. Some of the new menu is easier, but if my daughter and I would order separately, it would be $25 more each, where it is already expensive. I feel like I’ll be penalized with $25 more if I come alone, so I’m forced to come with someone else. If my daughter and I choose to order create our own for the entree, besides the choices given, we are charged $5 more a piece for 3 choices of protein instead of 4 proteins included with the certain choices (classic, pacific rim, steak lovers, land and sea, vegetarian). There’s pros and cons to the new menu, but I still feel it’s a little pricey for the El Paso demographics.
Firts time there and it was great! Really love the new experience
EVerything was great but we were there for 4 hours. I do like to dine rather than just eat and run but 4 hours seems a bit too lengthy. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. We even had leftovers considering the couple we were with spit a small dish and ate alot of our meals.
I made my reservation for 9:45 PM on Valentine's day. We got there at around 9:20. There were so many couples waiting to be seated that also had reservations. We were all huddled by the door and the crowd spilled into the dining area so I can imagine it ruined the mood for a lot of people. We asked about our reservation and were told they didn't know an exact time but that there were 16 couples in front of us that were waiting to be seated.
We weren't given a table until 10:45 PM and that was only because a few couples left the restaurant before they were seated. It took forever to get our drinks and our food. When the did bring us our food they forgot our silverware. I ended up eating my salad with my hand while my husband went to go ask for some forks. We were given a set and they were both dirty and full of cheese. I was very upset by this point. The waitress brought over another set after we insisted they were dirty. She had said that it was just water stains but it was clearly chunks of cheese. We finally got our fondue and we got our utensils but she only brought 2 for each. It took forever to cook our meats. When we got our dessert, it was like we only got enough to taste. There was so little chocolate in that pot that I had to stand over it for me to be able to see it. I wasn't happy with this experience. I wish it was handled better. We ended up leaving until 12:30 AM. We didnt have time for anything afterwards as my husband had to wake up at 5 AM for work the next morning. It was a ruined night. I will not be trusting Melting pot with our special occasions anymore, it was a real disappointment.
I’ll be honest I was underwhelmed by the melting pot.
Our experience was awesome as usual. Alexander is the best server there. Always attentive, kind, wonderful. Arturo and Jeremy always stop by the table to check on us. We saw the new menu tonight, that is supposed to start next week. It’s extremely disappointing because my daughter and I go there all the time and we enjoy ordering our own fondues for every part of the meal. Now we won’t have that choice, which I think is a wrong choice. El Paso people already don’t like to try new things, but taking away the individual choices is horrible and expensive. I hope someone changes the menu back to individual choices.
Great service; great explanation of menu and great experience.
We had an awesome dinner. Izzy was wonderful as all the staff were
Kudos to Andrea for nailing our complex order and the outstanding service!
Great spot for date night or quick celebration
Exelente el servicio y la comida fueron mas de lo esperado y el lugar está de lujo.
Poor service. We arrived about 5 minutes before our 2PM reservation. There were multiple tables open and looked to be about 4 parties eating at our arrival. The whole dining experience took 2.5 hours, we were offered a chocolate fondues for our wait time.
Alexander and everyone at the Melting Pot are always welcoming and its always a great experience
Amazing service loved the food
Excellent evening, amazing food and our server Ozzy was on point! I would highly recommend it a truly memorable birthday celebration for my daughter.
Friendly, accommodating, and professional staff. Always go above and beyond for our get togethers.
The food quality has gone downhill. We ran out of the cheese and chocolate fondue before we ran out of dippers. Most dippers seemed stale or of ok quality (all bread, veggies, and some of the dessert dippers). The service was also pretty mediocre. For $100 meal for two, they should do better.
Outstanding food quality and service. Fun atmosphere. Kiana was an amazing server! Will be back again very soon.
The Melting Pot is a can’t miss dining location. The staff create an ambiance and interactive experience that you’ll never forget. This location is a must for all El Pasoans.
Great food and a great overall time and experience
The service was great everything they brought out was fresh.
Exceeded my expectations!!! Great !
Unique diner experience, but requieres a lot of time
At first the menus and choices were overwhelming, but the wait staff were very patient and attentive and got us through it. The amount of food seemed overwhelming, but we ate it all. :-)
The ambiance was great, staff was friendly!!! Food was good but not enough lol... Cocktails was good also
Satay’s were not seasoned. Beef OK no seasoning, Shrimp overcooked and rubbery, chicken OK no seasoning. Waitress was good and very helpful
My family and I went here for an upscale experience and it was ruined the moment we entered the building. Not only did we have to flag down someone to simply take our drink orders, but a drink was wasted on my mother as well and the manager offered $9 for compensation as if that was going to make up for her attire being soaked the entire evening. For $62 dollars I expect more than a slither of steak and a scoop of veggies. Our reservation was for 8pm and we did not begin eating until nearly 10pm, which was right before closing time. The food was tasteless and truly a waste of money. I have NEVER yelped and/or rated a restaurant, however, this place is a complete rip-off. Personally I will never return to this restaurant nor suggest it. Overrated and over priced!! I had several pieces of hair in my salad as well. The waitress took it upon herself to force her opinion in regard to meals, etc and then charged us for them. The young lady came to the table with “her” fondue selection disregarding ours and failed to mention the additional cost. Overall had a horrible experience.
Went in for our anneversary, were welcomed by servers and management. Had superb service with great recommendations by our server. Couldn't have asked for anything better!
I absolutely love the experience at the melting pot… It’s a great place to do a special occasion… Because it really involves you with your party. One thing that I have experienced both times that I have come, is that it takes a really long time. Both times I have come it has taken four hours for a four course meal… I don’t know about anybody else but for me that is a bit long… The food and the service and the experience overall are excellent though- Definitely a fun time!
Great meal and we loved the decor! Greated by owner who was extremely polite. We really enjoyed our experience.
Great customer service! Amazing and comfortable atmosphere. Food was delicious from beginning to end
my experience at The Melting Pot here in El Paso was outstanding. The Waitress and Manager made sure that my wife and I had the best dinner possible for our 3rd Anniversary! Thank You.
This was a wonderful experience and the services was top rate
First time there and the dining experience was awesome! Customer service was a excellent, will definitely fine there again. Food was great and an abundance of options to try!
It was AMAZING
It was amazing!! My boyfriend loved it for his birthday
Hubby and I went to the Melting Pot for our first time to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary. Overall, we had a great time. Now I know though, that the skewers come with very little meat and no seasoning. We were given a cold dish of teriyaki sauce to spread on top of the meat. It would have been nice to have a variety of flavor and not just a cold thing of teriyaki sauce to put on our small pieces of meat. The hatch green chile cheese was good, my husband enjoyed that more than me. My mimosa had more alcohol than juice, but hey I’m not complaining. Dessert though, that fixed everything. We ordered the turtle, and it was delicious! If we go back, it’ll be for the dessert and customer service. Everything else was meh at best.
Good service. New experience. If you don’t want to cook your own meal don’t come.
Great for a birthday dinner. It’s a fun, interactive experience.
