The Melting Pot - Durham
the food was great and it is experiential dining. We loved it.
Great place for a dining event with a room for your group
Food was good. It was a nice place to celebrate Father's day if you enjoy cooking fondue together. Service from Autumn and other staff was very good.
This restaurant is for those not in a hurry. Great service, good drinks and food.
It is definitely a pricey dining site, but makes for great family memories.
My wife and I enjoyed our experience Melting Pot - Durham. We got the 4-Course meal package. Josh was our waiter/cook and he was fantastic! He described the menu well and offered great suggestions and recommendations.
Did not accept our open table dining rewards cards. There was no indication when we made the reservation that they would not. Reward process was properly followed.
We celebrated the end of the pandemic and us moving to the area to be close to the grandkids. We took the two of them here. It was their first time.
Excellent experience. We were so happy to see that this location re-opened after we were last there on Valentine’s 2020 pre-COVID. Sunny was an excellent server, and Katie gave us an update on the new management and accepted a discount offered by the previous management to boot! Try the Wisconsin Trio cheese for something a little different!
The food was great but the service was excellent! Could not have asked for better service. Multiple people helping the waiter with keeping drinks full, asking if additional sauces were needed, clearing the table, etc. It was wonderful!
Honestly I love fondue, but the real highlights are the cheese course and the chocolate course. So good! We had a great time.
Service is always good! I should have requested a double burner to get two cooking styles. I’ll remember that for next time
We got to enjoy the mother's day experience today. The waitress we had was very helpful with our choice selections
Each course was fresh and timely. We expected to be full and happy when we left, and that's exactly what we got!
I loved the section I was in with the option to close my curtain if I wanted to. I did have to wait 30 min to be served but the staff was very attentive after that and the food was delicious as always.
It was great but service was extremely slow. I had 5:30 reservations, we got there at 5 and left at 7:45.
Was unaware that you guys moved on me! No worries. Had a wonderful experience and the wife was thrilled. Thanks!
The service was horrible. We wait
Fantastic and fun birthday dinner for my wife with friends. Would definitely recommend Melting Pot. They had some adorable private dining rooms for date night as well.
Erica was our sever and she was amazing!! Everything was great
Excellent all the way around!
Took granddaughters there as a reward. Their first visit and they were very happy and excited. Our server was great with the girls and answered their questions. The only reason I didn't give a perfect score was that some of the apple pieces were pretty brown and mushy.
Wonderful service. Delicious food.
The tuna was spoiled.
The service was fair.
Everything was great!!
It was something different. It was a surprise for my boyfriend's birthday. He seemed to really enjoy it.
Haven't been here since COVID hit and it was a wonderful experience to go back.
A very romantic meal for our anniversary. The private tables create the best ambience.
We were dining at this location for a belated Valentines dinner and because of proximity of my hotel, I travel for work. And the overall experience was very good. The only issues we had was the limited selections on the menu. The only other time we have dined at a Melting Pot was in Charlotte N.C. Our waiter did inform us that another location in Raleigh N.C. had more selections like that in Charlotte. What we did order was delicious and satisfying. Our service was superb and very helpful when it came to choosing our foods.
Celebrating son’s college admission and Valentine’s Day
It was nice
About $425 for 4 people. Food was not that good and the it took a long time. I’ll take everyone to a nice steakhouse next time. Might be nice for a two person romantic meal in one of their private booths. It was a fixed menu of Valentine’s Day with no option to choose off of the menu. Would have been nice to know before hand. Fondue is so basic anyway that it shouldn’t be that expensive. All in all it was an experience and we are unlikely to ever want to go back.
