Super fun experience and great service!
When your paying $50 a plate there should be more professionalism. Plates were dirty and chipped, and we set the reservations for a birthday and they forgot that. We’ve been to many melting pots across the country and this by far was an experience that was not on par with how they should be for such an expensive restaurant. This was our second time and we will not be returning for a third.
Riley was a wonderful server and explained the menu well. Great service.
Birthday dinner with my lady.
So disappointed, our meal was horrible and the service even worse! We use to love this location and never had any issues but tonight made me not want to return. We had runny cheese with barely anything to deep. Meats were okay. Chocolate tasted burnt and was awful! I know servers are hard to get and keep right now but this beyond awful! I can’t recommend, and I’m very sad about that.
The service stunk.. I had to open my own wine bottle.
Food was outstanding and brought out in a timely manner. Highly recommend!!!
We have a family member that has Celiac disease. When we got the gluten free selections we thought we wouldn’t be able to have substitutions as most places do not. We were pleasantly surprised when they offered gluten free bread and gluten free cookie/cake options with dessert. This location went above and beyond to make sure our loved one with Celiac could be safely accommodated. Also, service was fantastic!
Our server was training a new waiter. We were not asked if this was okay with us. The service was very slow. We felt forgotten half the time. We have been to other Melting Pot locations; and the food was excellent as it always is.
The restaurant was out of stock of many regular items, some of which are our favorite and the reason we made the reservation! It made our dining experience less than remarkable. However, our server was excellent and apologetic. We’ll try Melting Pot again, but not at this location.
Atmosphere was nice and service excellent. We just didn’t like the process but that is a personal thing, nothing against the restaurant.
Appetizer and dessert were awesome! Entrees were good. Josh was a fabulous server!
We have dined at different melting pots over 50 times at least over the last 18 years with always great experiences and great meals, until this time.
We arrived at 7:48 for our 8pm reservation. The hostess said she could seat us closer to 8. Completely understandable. We sat in view of the hostess stand on other side of a window. At 8:04 I go ask if I needed to have checked in again…basically she forgot us and asked my name again and said yes we have been waiting for you. Same person…I was so confused but just went with it, we were seated all totally fine. Next the waitress had a trainee with her. Very kind and sweet girls. We were served waters and the trainee accidentally spills entire water glass on myself, booth and my phone laying on the both seat. Of course, shocking but we profusely said it was fine etc. Accidents happen. What I thought was shocking was no towels, napkins were given to us. My dinner napkin wasn’t even replaced and a manager didn’t even have the courtesy to stop by our table at any point and I wasn’t even looking for a discount or anything ( don’t worry nothing like that was given anyways on our final bill) I sat and shivered all through dinner. Also, their portions ( cheese and entree) are considerable smaller than any other Melting Pot we have been to across the country ( Colorado, Boca Raton, Phoenix, Nashville) but same price. Example kids portion of meat is always 9 pieces. Here it is 6. Also we paid $30 for them to have extra cheese and chocolate and we even had to ask if what we received was correct. I never write bad reviews but from start to finish it was really not enjoyable and disappointing.
This is a great place for celebrations.
Always a great night out!
Food did not taste very good.
Well it was my birthday, hubby made the
We love trying different Melting Pots around the country. We were celebrating our 8 year anniversary and thought we we try the one in Destin. As always, the food was amazing. But our service was a hot mess. Our waiter was very kind; however, he disappeared for about 30 minutes and could not be found. My husband’s drink sat empty through most of the meal, we didn’t get our “rescue spoon”, and I ordered a wine flight that was forgotten (until I received all three at once). We had to reach out to another waitress to ask for help because ours just disappeared. The bartender was a guy in a SnapBack, who seemed to be struggling with communicating with the wait staff, filling orders, and bringing them to the table. I even sent the “martini” back because it was 70% ice. We spent over $150 on our meal and hoped for better service than we received. We will continue to visit the Melting Pot because it’s our “thing”, but we won’t be returning to the one in Destin.
Perfect anniversary spot
Blah. The atmosphere. The food. The service.
The service was terrible and the noise level was ridiculous. I left with a headache. Food was great, but then... I cooked it myself. 😂
We requested a different table and the staff was very accommodating. We really appreciated it.
They should stick to regular menu and stop holiday specials. We are decades long customers and know what we like. Sell the customer what he wants, not want you think he wants or needs.
Great food Great People but did i mention the food
Service was excellent!
My overall experience was ok. We had a new waitress and she really couldn’t answer any of the questions we asked. The food was overpriced and the portions aren’t enough.
It was a fun, fantastic experience! We grilled our food for the first time and that was very nice & tasty!
Very good experience. The waiter was good and friendly.
Even when we did make a reservation and we were on time and several tables empty they make us wait a few minutes and after that they seat us at a table without nothing , meaning no silverware or anything . We even received the food without silverware.
the other negative was the drinks , almost no alcohol just a soda at $11 and $13 each
The rest was great , good food and flavors .
Always a good choice. The 4 cheese fondue is great. Leisurely dinner out when you're not in a hurry. Enjoy!
Me and my daughter came and even tho we where early and very needy our waiter was excellent
One our favorite places. We like the little "couples cubbies" - romantic and better isolated in COVID times - without compromise in service. The $95 couple package suited us perfectly, and our server was very accommodating and personable.
Online reservation system with email reminder a bonus. All in all, a lovely evening.
It’s was a nice experience! Not necessarily worth the prices but I would do it again with a first time visitor
We visit this location every year when we come to the beach. Sadly this visit wasn’t up to par. I believe there must be new management. Upon arrival we had to wait for the hostess no one was at the hostess stand. We were seated and ordered drinks. It was 30 min before I got my wine. I had to ask 3 times as to where is was. It was another 15 min before we were able to start our 1st coarse. The vibe was just off. I also noticed the staff from the hostess to the manger looked disheveled wearing jeans and tee shirts which I thought was odd. Unfortunately we will not be back to this location.
We had Easter brunch. It was just what we needed...a quiet romantic date day! The server was super sweet. The food was delicious, as usual.
Great place for a romantic dinner. Food was excellent and you won't walk away hungry. Awesome wine selection and the bar is well stocked. Be prepared to be there for at least two hours. The meal comes out in 4 courses. Our service was lacking abit because they were training a new server. All in all a great experience!
Don't feel valued as a customer. Food was excellent. Manager could use some Ritz-Carlton training.
Service was very po
Felt like our waitress was trying to rush us.
