My daughter loved the Polynesian Princess Party. I would like to add though that Moana is not a princess. She’s the daughter of a chief.
Fantastic. Great service, so much food with the four course meal, our server was attentive, engaging, but also knew when to just leave us be, and all tasted quite good. Only minor complaint was mixed drinks skewed sweet, which isn't surprising for a chain. I'll stick to beer/wine/neat next time and be just fine.
We had a fantastic time the food was great the server was even better, and the the resturant is set up so that every table has there own space. We can’t wait to go back!
Loved it ! We enjoyed the food & the interactive method of cooking the food was great . Will recommend
Nice Experience but took lot of time to get the food. Expended about 2.5 hours there at least. I was lucky my kids behaved ok.
The food and service were not as good as the Framingham location, soggy lettuce and tough steak . Also the portions were much smaller too, 3/4 of a strawberry per person, really?
They messed up the bill twice and I had to call the next day to get if fixed, which they did fix and apologized for, but they should have got it correct the first time.
We love the Melting Pot but will not return to this location.
Amazing food and excellent service. A bit pricey, but hey, that’s what I get for ordering a extra lobster tail! Had a wonderful waitress who was very attentive despite it being busy that night. Would definitely recommend.
Service was slow, even though the restaurant was practically empty. Our server made our cheese and then food runners did everything else including our chocolate course.
We received a plate with chips of ceramic coming off (loose chips of ceramic on the plate) and server did not really seem to understand that was a big problem. Did not get to speak to the manager about it. The extra charge artisanal dippers plate was missing the cornichons. Cheese, salad, and chocolate for 2 adults and 1 child was almost $100, despite the special promotion that was going on.
We waited so long for our check to be run that I was steaming and fuming and just wanted to leave.
We were so happy with both the food and service. Our server was very attentive and as it was our first time there she was really helpful in explaining everything. We will definitely be back.
Our server was absolutely amazing. We had such a great time for our anniversary dinner (and finally a night away from the baby). We will be going back!
Our Server (her name started with a "J" I believe--it was Sunday night) was new but very friendly and quick to find answers to questions that we had.
There was one piece that was very disappointing to me, we attempted to use our $50 Dining Reward from OpenTable, but they told us that they do not accept the vouchers with promotional meals, which makes no sense. After searching for anywhere on the website or on the voucher itself, there no verbiage indicating that the rewards credit would NOT be available if used with special or promotional pricing. This was very frustrating. I would have raised more of an issue about it, except my boyfriend told me to keep my cool and that we would just go back another time. That really left a bad taste in mouth though, especially since I made the reservation, indicating that I was using the voucher and it was not said to me at the time the reservation was made, or when I arrived and checked into my reservation. I will be reaching out to OpenTable to have them put the credit back on my account so that I can use it at another restaurant that has more transparent policies in place. Not a fan of being told "No" when there is nothing in writing. Is the voucher essentially not like a gift card? Would I have been told no, I can't use my gift card there if they were doing a promotion for the evening?
The waitress we had was great. Always kept our glasses full, checked on us multiple times, acoomdated our food request. And was a master when it came to making the cheese fondue.
Came here for Restaurant Week and it was an unbelievable evening. The two of us started out with cheese fondue, then an individual salad each, then the meal fondue with broth and a great selection of meat (and meat alternative) options and veggies, and capping off the night with a chocolate fondue dessert. It was also a memorable night, as my girlfriend and I got engaged during dinner and the staff was extremely congratulatory and accommodating. It certainly was a night to remember!!
Good taste and excellent experience for the first time americal style hot pot.
Reservation was for 4 to celebrate my Granddaughters 15th birthday. It was the first time 3 of the 4 had been to the Melting Pot and the experience was very much enjoyed by everyone. Service was good, plenty of entre options to choose from and everyone enjoyed their meals. The two 15 year olds especially enjoyed their dessert fondue. Everyone needs to experience this unique style of dining.
It wasn’t anything special. I usually love the experience.
My daughter hosted her sweet 16 birthday party here and it was a great success. Our waitress patiently explained the complicated menu and she and her friends--some fairly picky eaters--were encouraged to be adventurous and loved the food! They also enjoyed a sophisticated lengthy time there (2.5 hours) so it wasn't just a meal but a dining experience, and a lovely memory for everyone. It's rather pricey but I suppose the memory making is worth it and of course one doesn't turn 16 every day 😊
We go to the melting pot often. The food is great. This last time there was a family of young teenagers sitting nearby who kept running up and down the isles. We were sitting in lovers Lane. Which is typically quiet. The last two times we went service was very slow, we happen to have the same server actually. She did not check back often and there was a lengthy amount of time between each portion of the meal.
More than a meal, this is an event. We had 4 course dinner and spent over 3 hours. Everyone loved the food including some picky eaters and people with assorted food allergies! Plan for time & cost then enjoy the event!
Fondue was amazing, but the cook your own food was not that great. It was way overpriced. It had some of the best servers I have ever seen.
The food was so fresh and there is a great variety to choose from. Our server was very friendly and attentive and explained exactly how the meal worked.
A one of a kind dining experience. My wife and I were seated at a small table with an L shaped seat in a little nook, however we liked the privacy. We couldn't really see another table so it was like a private room. We started with fondue (choice of many types), followed by a main course (3 different items for each of us from a long list) with chocolate fondue (many choices) for dessert. We had shrimp, scallops, salmon and sliced duck breast which we cooked ourselves in a pot of broth (one choice per table). The food quality was exceptional, the waitress set everything up and provided simple instructions for our part. 3 hours long. Amazing food but this was all about the experience.
Very disappointing service and the temperature in the restaurant was miserable! The food was good when it came but we waited so long between courses. There were times when we couldn't locate our waiter for 15 minutes! We had to ask him for more drinks or water, he never came by just to check on us. Perhaps they were short staffed that night, but it was very disappointing-especially with a $350 check. About the temperature--everyone around our table was perspiring-it was so warm in there. We asked for the air to be turned on, but it never got any better. It got to the point that our guests just wanted to leave they were so uncomfortable. I've been to different restaurants in this chain and they were good, so I'm hoping it was just a bad night for this one.
A little expensive but worth it!
Food was fantastic service was good but they had just implemented a new payment process and there was a lot of waiting. However I feel the issue will be relieved with time. Overall great experience and waitress was very personable. She made it very enjoyable.
My friend and I got two cheeses instead of a full meal, and they were delicious! The ambiance is always very nice and staff are always friendly.
Service is horrendous. The food is fine but the service really ruined it. We heard another server mention the restaurant week menu to a table near us... our server never mentioned it to us. Waited 45 minutes between courses. Never again.
We very much enjoyed our visit to the Melting Pot. It was our first time and Chris, our waiter, was very enthusiastic in his explanations as to how to make our choices and what to order. He was great! We had a gift certificate that was a bit older, but it was honored with no trouble. In fact the manager came to our table to help us get the best value out of our certificate. It was a very fun evening and we would definitely go back again. It is not an inexpensive meal, but the meal does take the evening and provides a nice time of conversation that a quick meal and a movie does not provide.
Our reservation was at 8:15. We had to go looking for someone to assist us. Finally at 8:40, we got to place our drink orders and start a very long dinner. As a result, we were there much later than we wanted, with work the next morning. And the restaurant did not even offer us as much as a complimentary drink. Very poor experience, will never go back and I would recommend not going.
Went out on a friend outing, we love going to the Bedford’s location. Staffs a
Ways friendly as well as management. Every time I bring someone new, it’s a hit and everyone wants to go back. We went on a night that was short staffed and a new server and our experience was still great! Food was great as always and atmospheres inviting always recommend this place!
Basically boiling meat was unappealing.. didn’t taste that good either. The sauces served with the entree were also disappointing. Our waitress was friendly. The cheese fondue and chocolate fondue were good.
I kept seeing facebook ads pop up for kids eat free with Adult meal.. So I thought might as well take the kids it will be a fun experience.... It was a nightmare... the food was awful ... the kids werent feeling it except the chocolate.... and the bill was almost 200 for a family of 4.... they charge seperately for the cheese, meat, and desert.... the meat alone was 80 dollars!!!!!! I almost had a heart attack at the size of the bill very deceiving how they word everything and advertise... horrible experience ... never ever wold I go back
We visit this Melting Pot pretty regularly. The last few times we have had issues with the service. In the past 2 weeks, we have dined here twice and both times had new servers. The new servers need to have some additional training. During this visit, we dined at 5:15 on a Thursday evening. The resteraunt was near empty when we sat down. Our server was VERY disorganized, her hands were shaking when she was preparing our cheese, she did not bring a rack to hold her tray with supplies to made the fondue, We had to move all our stuff over on the table
So she could set her tray down. She also dropped a glass of full soda, which I luckily grabbed before too much spilled all over. No refills were offered on our drinks unless we asked, and it took over 2 and a half hours to complete our meal since she was so slow. Our group was not large. We are two adults and a small child. Our bill came and of course it was incorrect. She charged me an additional $20 and then argued that it was correct. I asked to see the manager who did quickly make the correction. It is disappointing that for a resteraunt that used to be phenomenal, really drop in quality of service.
Came in for our Anniversary and everything was fantastic...Even though we had to cut the night short because my wife wasnt feeling great, I can not wait to come back!!!! From the moment we got there to our unfortunate leaving we were treated like royalty by both management and staff!!! Thank you so much for your hospitality you have once again become my wife's favorite reasturant. Autumn was our server and was absolutly amazing!!!! Her great personality and hospitality is the signature of fine dining...cant wait to have her wait on us again!!!! Thank you all so much😊
Had a great time here. Only complaint would be the new server was a little slow. There was a long waiting time between meals which could be a good thing since it's so much food. Forgot our last order of drinks, but we were not charged.
Great place for apps and dessert. If there for the full 4 course be ready to pay $$
Our service was terrible, waited forever between courses and my meal was wrong. I have been here several times and it always seems to be this way. We had a 6:30 reservation and didn’t leave till 9:30 pm. Our waitress was slow and unprepared. Just overall not a good experience.
Great spot for a nice dinner. Took advantage of the school vacation promotion to try it with the kids (6 & 8). Overall a good/fun dinner for the 4 of us.
This place was so good! I had a lot of fun on my belated Valentine's Day date. I had Erin as a waitress and she was so nice! She was very down to earth and very personable. I felt like she was a host at a home instead of a waitress at a restaurant. My favorite dish about this place was the cheese fondue. We had the loaded baked potato and it was amazing! I'm glad that someone's creativity help land it onto the permanent menu!
I would say the overall experience was great. The only feedback i could give is the bartender on duty near the front door, needs a personality or not appear so snobby. There was a gap of about 5 minutes between arrival and being able to sit. I asked a very specific question about a drink to see if they made it a certain way, and she rolled her eyes and appeared annoyed. Other than that, it was fine!
One of my favorite special occasion places. But I do always wish there was twice as much cheese fondue and half as much chocolate.
