   The Sixers vs Bucks was on and the waitress and waiters were all watching the game did not check in often and did not refill drinks. People in party waited over 30 minutes to get their food and everything was shut off expect the main tv and it was just not that great. But I was happy that the food was good and that the space was available to accommodate 20 people at the time.

   The Mecca is like the ultimate sports bar with an enormous theater size screen carrying the featured event of the moment, and high energy music pumping throughout the space. Like a sports bar, you don't really go there for the food, so don't expect incredibly executed deliciousness on every plate. The food is pretty standard pub fare of the deep-fried, high-calorie variety. The drink selection offers a range of local craft and national name-brand beers, wine and quick-prep or ready-made cocktails. They do offer four different kid's plates, which was nice. All-in-all, a really good spot in the Deer District to get pumped up for a Bucks game at Fiserv Forum, and possibly to go to view a big event on the giant screen with a whole bunch of other fans.

   Went here for my husbands 40th birthday brunch. They brought out all the food except his and made an excuse that the kitchen didn't see his meal (same as another person's at the table - wouldn't you give the meal to the birthday person?). Messed up another order. Our server disappeared for 15 minutes at one point - the place was dead. Then, the bill came. They didn't comp anything. Horrible customer service and the food did not make up for it. Great bloody mary's though. Of note - they do not have coffee.

   Great location and atmosphere for watching a game. Service is fine. Outside of the Bavarian pretzel, the food is terrible. Dry wings, stale fries, bland salads. Come to have some beers and watch sports. Eat elsewhere.

   The Mecca Breakfast with Santa was amazing. I recommend it for any future Christmas family Santa pics. Not to forget Bango stopped by and brought his Christmas energy. 💚

   I am a Marquette fan and the place catered to Badger fans before the WIsconsin at Marquette basketball game. It was disrespectful to those who are Marquette fans and who frequent the establishment. I will not go back there.

   We had terrible service. We maybe saw the waiter 4 times in the three hours we were there and one of those times is when we were at the bar and requested him to go to table. Otherwise he basically forgot about our table.

   Server was great and very attentive even with a packed house. Food was absolutely not worth the money. I had a burger which was extremely small considering the $15 price point and it was charred to a crisp. My friend got wings which were OK, but it doesn't say anywhere that they are served naked with sauce on the side. The sauce came in a shot glass sized ramiken onoy about 2/3 full and then he was charged when he asked for more sauce to go on the wings. Atmosphere was fun, but we were so disappointed by the food that we will not be back.

    Love that the Mecca honors OpenTable reservations. It is a very busy place because of the food and ambiance so without those reservations it is tough to get in. Always our place of choice for concerts and events.

    Limited menu, nothing really seemed great. 2 of our items didn't come with the requested protein, appetizers came out at several different times, drinks were not very good, food was bland in general. Will not be going back unfortunately.

    The place is nice for watching the game. We booked a table so I could be sure to get in and arrived early before it was crowded and still ended up right by the kitchen and all the server traffic. That's my only semi complaint.

    No server for our section w/a 4pm resv. waiting 20min after. Food was awful. under cooked chicken still pink and burnt burgers. asked for manager. never got one. we ate the tots and that was about it. wasted over $100 in food. hoped to get it resolved there but again no manager ever came over and we had a game to attend. Waited 30 minutes for a mtg to show. Absolutely horrible from beginning to end.

    We went for a special event and had reservations. No waiting. We enjoyed everything we ordered including the fried pickles app, the burger, the Avocado BLT, chicken sandwich, fries and tots. The adults enjoyed a wonderful adult version of the capris sun. Great and friendly service although they were busy. Everything was very clean. The only issue was the bathroom was low on toilet paper.

    We arrived on time with clients but they did not have our table ready. There were very few customers, so they were able to accommodate us pretty quickly. However we waited over 15 minutes for water and our order took over 30 mins to prepare. I would have expected it if they were busy, but they weren't and we were disappointed.

    We actually had an abysmal experience at MECCA yesterday. We were sat in a very noisy and crowded section near the bar and we went almost 30 minutes and were never acknowledged by an employee - no one took our order, no one said hi, no one said we are coming... nothing. We went completely ignored for almost 30 minutes which is absolutely unacceptable. There was almost no staff - I could not even find someone to complain to. It was evident that MECCA was not staffed at all for such a busy night. We left and I have no intention of going back to MECCA. Simply a terrible experience.

    Just don’t go!! Waited 2 hours for our food for it to come out incorrect. Almost walked out multiple times. Absolutely terrible customer service. The poor waitress said she wasn’t even a waitress and they pulled her in to do it. We made reservations to have an office lunch and we were embarrassed we took our office there.     There was a noticeable improvement from my previous experiences in 2019 and 2021. Pricing was much more in-line with other restaurants and the quality was improved.

    I was looking forward to trying this place but I can’t say it was a hit. Part of the problem was a group of 4 men who clearly had been drinking too and their conversation was disturbing volume wise and content wise. I brought my friend for a birthday dinner and it was dead in there. I know it was a sunday but didn’t expect it to be so empty. It’s a nice place and it would’ve been nice to sit up top. The hostesses enthusiasm was poor. We wanted to sit upstairs but we couldn’t really hear what she said and she sat us at a table right by the bar. Our waitress was nice and checked on us. After she took our order, a young man came to tell us he’d be our server. When we said we had already ordered he seemed upset and said something to our server in regards to someone could’ve let him know he didn’t have to go to our table. I ordered the Cesar salad with fried chicken. It wasn’t bad but the cup of dressing that comes with it, is definitely not enough. My friend ordered the chicken sandwich and she specifically said no lettuce but it came with it. I had to ask for more dressing because my salad was dry. My friend asked for mayo for sandwich. If I would’ve known it would’ve been a cost for mayo for her sandwich which should come automatically with it and for my extra one, I wouldn’t have. With tip my bill was $74 and I feel it wasn’t worth it. The cheese curds were just ok. Not sure I’d come back.

    We got seated right away through our reservation, but it took over an hour to actually get our food. They made apologies several times about the wait, which certainly helps, but for being so close to Fiserv Forum, they should expect large crowds at peak times. I ordered the Mecca burger ($15), and one of my sons ordered the kids burger ($8). Both appeared exactly the same size. Not sure what the extra $7 was for on the Mecca. Overall the food was average bar fair. I’ve definitely had better. But if I’m ever back near Fiserv, I’ll be dining elsewhere I think.
