The place is beautiful, it may be hard to find but once you’re there is lovely. The service is amazing from beginning to end, the food came on time and amazing. The chef really knows what he’s doing! I’ll come back for sure and I’ll recommend it to all my friends in meatpacking!

After the chef left the previous restaurant Encore, the manager came up with the idea to serve an American interpretation of French bistro style food. There isn’t really a concept and the execution of each dish is pretty poor. Only the octopus was acceptable. However, the choice of wines by the glass is disappointing, too.
I honestly expected a cheerful ambience at The Meatpackers, but it’s rather boring then exciting, disregarding the fact, that the restaurant was almost empty.
There are definitely better venues in meatpacking district!

The food was quite good. The seating is comfortable. The place had just opened. I think is is promising, but it has quite a few things to fix it's going to last very long. All the things we ordered, baratta, tuna tarter, risotto, halibut, were really good, and I would definitely order them again. However, they were understaffed, could not serve any cocktails from their cocktail menu, and in general just didn't really seem to know what they were doing yet. I will try it again.

Great new addition to the neighborhood. Sleek cocktail bar by night. Good brunch options by day. Can’t wait to return and enjoy it al fresco in summer.
