Cute little restaurant. Food is great, service was a bit slow but our waiter was brand new and it was peak Saturday night dinner. There's a place on Long Island that offers a similar menu, but has more flexibility so I'm a bit biased as to what you can do with the balls (like get sliders, pasta or mix and match). Overall, worth it!
We had the buffalo balls for an appetizer and I had the meatball sandwich, that was delicious
Great meal....I had a special called spagaball, spaghetti inside of a meatball, and it was amazing
Fun and inexpensive but Super salty and super noisy. I would not go back on a weekend night unless I had no interest in talking to the people I was with.
The ambiance and location of this place is excellent. The food is quite good, but on a Friday/Saturday night expect there to be a bit of a wait for table/service.
Simple menu with fresh and locally sourced items. Great for a family outing or night out with friends.
Love this place. Excellent service and food!
When I tell you I could eat at this place every single day I could. It was so amazing that i came back 2 nights later to try something else. Try the apple cinnamon margarita if you go omg. You guys this has definitely been my favorite place I've ate at in a very long time.
I love the Meatball Shop. This is a place I always take friends and family when they come to visit and it never disappoints. I love how the menu structure stays the same but updates by the season. Highly recommend.
Small little elegant area. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is delicious. Took the rest home for lunch the next day. All in all. A nice evening out. I do recommend. And will return.
Came here for a Double Date with some friends and their 6 month old. The staff were accommodating and attentive to our needs. The meal was delicious and our food came out in a fairly quick time period, although we received our appetizer about halfway through the meal. It was loud, but not so loud we had to shout. The playlist was excellent. We were singing on and off throughout our meal! Overall an excellent evening at The Meatball Shop West Village.
I’ve had dinner here a few times and my experience has been relatively the same. The food is good, very heavy and rich. I would go with the classic meatball. The service is okay. The staff seem fairly unorganized and it’s hard to get anyone’s attention. That’s not helped by the fact that it’s extremely noisy. I was really turned off however by the prices and the way they nickel and dime you. They charged us $1 because we asked for extra Parmesan. Really?.. probably won’t be back.
The food was excellent. Our waiter was super entertaining. I only have a 3 star review because when we showed up they told me I didn’t have a reservation when I clearly did.
Liam was a star
Amazing meatballs, really great staff, really polite and extremely helpful. Great value for money. A really neat idea, with a great choice of sauces and meatballs. Loved it.
Really good food with fantastic service. Will go back next time in the area
highly recommend. never disappointed. meal is so customizable and very yummy!
It was fantastic! The restaurant has a lot of charm and the service was exceptional and fast. We are looking forward to our next visit.
Such a great place. Excellent food, great service, and wonderful value
We went with our kids - who were apprehensive about the menu - and they all ordered seconds! We had a great meal and a great server. We will definitely be back.
The food here is decent. I wouldn't run to the location, but it's good if you need somewhere to go with friends or family.
Excellent service...very friendly waitstaff. Food was solid...worked for my wife and I, as well as our young sons. Classic meatballs were the best of what we tried, and the broccoli side was my favorite.
Good food but the waiter kept making mistakes with our orders.
Great food quality but very loud. I like the service too. I wish the kitchen sink stayed the same from 2 years ago!
As a frequent Meatball Shop customer, this is one of my favorite locations for this chain. It's always a little quieter than the Hell's Kitchen one, and so many bars to pop around to after grabbing a bite. Food obviously always gets a 10/10.
A go to restaurant when i'm in NYC, never disappointing! Always good :)
It was a fun experience and the staff was excellent, very friendly. The Caesar salad was not as fresh as I would expect ... some of the lettuce was browning. Definitely not worth the $9 price tag. The meatballs were good, tasted homemade, and tender, but I wouldn't say stellar. Overall glad we tried this place but would not rush back.
Fresh, delicious, great variety and value. The service is awesome. Great overall experience.
When we arrived we were immediately seated with our reservation. Our waitress was amazing and was very knowledgeable about the food. Both the cocktails and the food was above expectation. The ambiance was perfect, great music and slightly low lite. Smaller space but not too crowded. I choose a classic meatball and classic tomato sauce. It came with 4 traditional meatballs and spaghetti, great portion, and very tasty. My friend ordered the chicken meatball and parmesan cream and she loved it! For cocktails, we ordered a seasonal Moscow mule and strawberry margarita - which were both above expectations. Highly recommended!
Food was so good. Fun little spot to get dinner. I would definitely stop in again next time I'm in the area.
Mac is a meatball maestro! Creative menu, great Jell-O shots and an easy spot to start the night in the WV
