I would at least try it once. The meatballs were better than average, but nothing to brag about.

My sister inquired about a dish on the menu, the waiter asked if she had a nut allergy, she does. The waiter persisted to let her order the veggie sandwich, which is made with walnuts, without telling her. She ate a quarter of the sandwich and started to feel a reaction –– her mouth gets itchy, her throat closes up, her stomach hurts and she has difficulty breathing. When I asked the server if the sandwich had nuts he said he'd find out. He came back and reported the sandwich did indeed have walnuts. The rest of the meal we spent deciding if we should take my sister to the hospital because she did not have her EPI pen. The waiter did not come and check on us to see if everything was ok. The manager did not come and check on us when clearly something had gone wrong. The waiter proceeded to bring us the bill and only took my sister's meal off the check. After the situation calmed down I went to the manager and told her I felt we were not accommodated during the stressful situation which could've been prevented. She apologized for the oversight and said there was no excuse. She showed me that the waiter did enter her nut allergy into the system, but the kitchen did not catch that the sandwich would be a risk. She eventually offered to comp our bill but we shouldn't have had to complain for the restaurant to help ease the scary, life-threatening situation.

I was recommended this place from a friend as a must go place to eat and they were right!
The guy who served us was so lovely and friendly giving us advice on portion sizes and pairing different flavours etc.

Definitely a must go place in NYC!

I honestly can say I didn't think it was anything special we ordered almost everything on the menu there was 10 of us. The stuffed pasta meatballs we're very dry and mushy at the Sametime time the pasta sucks out the moisture from the meat some of the sauces weren't so bad, they must have changed the menu.

Our table was near the kitchen and very noisy. The tables were close to each other and my waiter’s buttocks was in our dining space when he was giving the other table their check. Otherwise all good

I have been a big fan of The Meatball Shop since my first visit to the original years ago. The Hell’s Kitchen location is energetic, consistently good, and friendly.

The wine left something to be desired - perhaps even spoiled. Food and service was good.

Love this place. We come here all the time. The service is fantastic and the food is really good (especially if you like meatballs). Lots of vegan options too!

My husband got a hair in his food to start . We thought it was just a big bowl of slop. It was less than special . Meatballs were not good enough , outside was not even crisp . The kale in my bowl was watery and made the whole bowl very liquidy. Would never go back

Food was excellent. Great quick relatively healthy meal when we were on the run, for good value. Our super cool Swedish make model waiter juxtaposed against the girl next door, South Carolina server was a fun and interesting mix of cosmopolitan and down home. Will definitely go back.

Cool concept! Who doesn’t love a good meatball? Service was very prompt. Appreciated they had a kids menu for a picky 7 y/o. It can be tough to find restaurants in NYC with a kids menu. Meatballs were dense but moist, full of flavor. Rabbit and Berkshire pork were fantastic! Liked being able to customize our own bowls with sauce and sides choice. If back in NYC, we’d definitely go back!
