This Wine Spectator Award of Excellence restaurant features multiple dining experiences under one roof—from the main dining room to our famous Wine Wall with 88 rotating selections by the glass.

Michelin-recognized, the menu celebrates Healdsburg's micro-seasonal ingredients and local farmers. We sat at the chef counter. Too bad we didn’t interact with the chef’s but they seem busy. The food was delicious, but my wife was hoping to have the sea bass but they just ran out. The caviar presentation was excellent and new experience.

Was last at The Matheson 2 years back and we were a bit underwhelmed by the food served..... So we decided to give them another chnace and we were pleased to see that they had returned to the high quality that we were used to when we first started visiting. Definitely will visit again in the future.

The food and the service were excellent! With an extensive mocktail and creative cocktail menu, those who may be wined out have great options. I think the thing that stands out the most about the food is the outstanding flavor. From the crudo mixed at our table to the chicken and sea bass main entrees, every bite was bursting with balanced but exciting flavors. Reliance on butter and salt for flavoring is noticeable absent from the kitchen. Thank you!!! Highly recommend. Service also exceeded expectations and was most attentive.

Always an excellent experience at Matheson. The wine that was suggested by the somm was fantastic and a good price point! The stylish interior only adds to the fantastic food. Perfect evening.
