Everything was excellent especially the bone marrow starter, it could have been dinner. The Waygu burger was wonderful and the fries are some of he best we’ve had. And the peanut butter cookie that accompanied the Afogato was amazing!

Delicious food and great service from The Matheson. My husband had the lamb and I ordered the NY. Cooked to perfection! Definitely a must try (if you’ve not been here) or a must try again…💕

Had the Chef's 4 course meal and it was great. Really good deal for the money. Everything was fresh, great tasting and beautifully presented. Restaurant is beautiful and the staff are great. Highly recommend Matheson's. We will be back for sure.

Overall I thought the restaurant was pretty good. I made reservations about a week in advance. They called me day of and asked if I’d want to move my reservation up because they’d had some cancellations. We ended up getting there about thirty minutes earlier with the intention of sitting up at the rooftop bar while we waited for our table, which they said was okay. By the time we got to the top, they turned us around and said we had to go back downstairs because our table was ready. That was the only service issue we had. Once we were seated at the restaurant, our server was great and well versed in the menu. Half our table got the chef’s pick menu so he planned the others food to come out in a timely manner. The presentation was great, drinks were yummy with attention to detail. The best part in my opinion was the dessert. We had the raspberry cheesecake which was easily one of the best desserts I’ve ever had.

Such a cool space. Before dinner drink on the rooftop highly recommended and then the chef’s table was very interesting. Food was superb.

Very disappointing. Food was served lukewarm. Skate wing had to be sent back because it tasted of ammonia. Entree of crab and linguine was light on crab, heavy on oil and butter. Broccoli was undercooked. Service was fantastic. Ambience is great. Unfortunately, the food couldn’t measure up.

The entrees were very good, rabbit pasta and turbot fish but the burrata salad was mostly greens, not burrata and the foie gras was well cooked but served on a bed of pickled strawberries which reduced the savory essence of the foie. The low rating came from the service, which was very poor. A long time to see a server, 15 minutes to get two cocktails and the main courses didn’t arrive until 75 minutes after arriving. Point is, the restaurant was less than 50% full. It’s not usully like this, but it sure left a bad taste in our mouth!

We enjoyed Chef’s tasting menu which included yellow fin tuna, crab linguini, pan seared skate, filet mignon with the most wonderful lemon cheesecake presented in artistic manner. It wasn’t a slice of cheesecake but more of large dollop of cheesecake. There was a preset wine pairing available but we opted for house wine as it was happy hour when we arrived. We enjoyed a small plate appetizer with scallops & rock shrimp. I wouldn’t order much more as the tasting menu is very filling.
