   We love the Matheson and make it a point to stop by every time we are in Healdsburg. The wine wall is a great way to sample some interesting wines. The food is always excellent and they haver a great happy hour.

   This was one of the most special places my hubby and I have ever eaten at. The owner is so sweet and the staff and service are incredible. The chef should be awarded a Michelin star. We love this place and will be back.

   As we entered, we were greeted with warmth and authenticity - an energy present in each member of the Matheson team. We enjoyed a sumptuous meal enhanced by the service. And a truly exceptional Tres Leche dessert. Bob Valette stopped by our table to visit which was a gift and it illustrated the essence of authenticity and exceptional culinary arts present at The Matheson.

   Maybe we hit it on an off night. We dine there every year, we visit from NYC. Very disappointing this time. We don’t think we would go back.

   Had lower expectations because we thought the main draw was the ambiance and rooftop bar, but the food was actually quite good and reasonably priced. The table server and somm were excellent but the front hostess not so much. Here's why: we arrived at 7:05 for a 7:15 reservation; the hostess said we could be seated in 10 minutes (even though the restaurant was half empty); 7:25 comes around so we ask what's going on. Only then does she seat us and all those other empty tables remained vacant though the night, so they were indeed not reserved. Not a good first impression,..

    Waiter friendly….. he wrong order to kitchen…. Everyone got their food; I had to wait….. then we pd expensive bill; then he came back to table and said the bill was wrong- price was much more.
