    We had a wonderful experience last evening at the Martinsville Tavern. Everyone at our table raved about their choices. I ordered the Paglia E Fieno which was superb! (Lobster Tail over Spinach Linguine with Prosciutito & Peas in a Carbonara Sauce.) It was a special offering that I encourage the chef to add to the regular menu! Lovely Service and Staff all around. My husband and I have visited often, I was so pleased that our friends who joined us enjoyed as well. Thank You and "Kudos" to All!

    The Martinsville Tavern was a great choice to celebrate my Husband's birthday. The service was great. A few negatives: although we received our appetizers very quickly, our entree took nearly a hour to receive. We were a bit disappointed with the delay. I also would recommend NOT to get the Linguini and clams entree or Greek Chopped salad - it was below average at best. It did not taste like there was any clam juice or a clam taste at all and the Greek salad looked like a mini side salad. All other entrees, I was told, were superb including the Duck, Braised short Ribs, and Orecchiette pasta. The noise level at 6:15 PM on a Tuesday was low but by 6:30 PM through 8:30 PM when we finished, it was extremely loud.

    Excellent tasting food (regular and specials) Reasonably priced main courses, especially given quality … but adding in drinks and shared apps, and desserts made the total a bit pricey. So more of a special occasion place rather than a weekly local gem.

    We selected this from OpenTable as a central location with good reviews for a gathering of old friends meeting from several locations, and so glad we did. Location, atmosphere, service and food were all outstanding. We were set up in a area that allowed good table conversation. 5 stars for sure.

    We have been coming to Martinsville Tavern for years . Food always consistent and Delicious! Staff is awesome too .

    We sat on the porch which got a little loud when it filled up. The food was great and we will definitely be going back again. Two of us had the hanger steak one rare and one med. well both done perfectly. Another of our trio had the Salmon. We asked for some minor substitutions and they were very accommodating. Over-all a great experience.
