Service was terrible, didn’t know who our server was, table was never cleared never offered drinks, ordered oysters and apps came at different times without proper silverware. Water was never refilled had to fill it myself. Had no idea who the manager was tried to bring it to attention of staff and no one cared. Had to bring out bill to the bar for the bartender to pay our bill. Will never go back and will be sure to pass along to friends not to go back.
We love it there ! Always a great dinner
A nice spot for a quick lunch and quiet conversation. Food was good and the servers were nice.
I had a business meeting this morning and diced to make a reservation at the Mark. We arrived a few minutes earlier and that wasn’t a problem. I asked to be seated at a table where it was quiet so I would get some work done, and the hostess seat us close to the bar. It was a great table set up for 4 guests. The server greeted us fast and asked us if we wanted any beverage. I asked for a Cappuccino, and within a few minutes I received the cappuccino with a cool design which it pretty good. A few minutes passed and the server came back apologizing for the interruption and asking if we where ready to order. We said yes and ordered. The food came quick and it was excellent. I had ordered the Avocado toast with two poached eggs. The eggs where poached to perfection. In general the service was excellent the servers and staff where very attentive. I would definitely come back and recommend to all my relatives and friends....
I stopped in for a quick lunch. They were only serving a limited menu at the time so I ordered the cheeseburger. I'm very picky when it comes to the burgers I like. This one was a little spicy for me, but I still really enjoyed it. And it was nice and quiet in the restaurant. It was an enjoyable lunch.
Every was good. I ordered the Butternut Squash soup which was warm and delicious. I could feel it warming my insides. The seasoning was perfect. i know it's seasonal, so I hope I can order it the next time I come. The server was very attentive.
It was a lovely quiet lunch. I ordered the Chicken Club Sandwich. It was delicious and the lettuce was nice and crisp. Servers were kind. It was a good meal.
Lunch there was fantastic. I went with a couple friends and I ordered the Margarita Pizza. I don't know what it is, but I really love the dough they use. It is my absolute favorite. The server, Vlad, was very nice and welcoming. He checked up on us a couple times to be sure we were happy. I can't wait to go back.
I had a brunch for 8 people. Food was nothing special and service was disaster. Seems like all the new staffs. Coffee came with no milk, bread came with no butter, bagel came with no cream cheese so they had to go back to get them each time we asked. They had no idea who ordered what. I do consult restaurant menu. It was really bad and felt shameful to pay over $500 something brunch for the average and very basic food.
Pricey but quiet, great ambience.
This is NOT in the same level as other Jean-Georges restaurants. There's no way they should be charging $400 for a dinner for two for this mediocre food and presentation. They are taking advantage of valentines day and ripping people off.
Very nice. Service was at Michelin level. Sophisticated setting.
Absolutely dreadful. Cold food, in and out in one hour..... never to be revisited. They should be ashamed of themselves to call it a five star experience.
I live in Paris and it’s time to get their head out of fast food service.
Excellent food and service during Valentines prix fixe evening.
It was somewhat loud but all in all a great dining experience. Will be back to try the ala carte menu.
One of our favorites from a master chef. Never fails to impress
Professional And considerate management.
Nice ambiance, friendly service. Good wine list. Avocado pizza and truffle pizza was really enjoyable. Would dine again,
great spot for business meeting. good salad options and wine list. service was great.
Great Matcha latte. Salted caramel sundae was really fun ! My friend had their profiteroles and chamomile tea which were also good. Service was warm and friendly. Great spot for a quick snack on a rainy day.
I LOVED The Mark. Everything about this place was exciting and classy. The restaurant has a serious class vibe, but also fun. You dont need to come with heels or a jacket but I would strongly suggest to look smart casual at minimum. Steamed Shrimp salad and crispy sushi were amazing. Butterscotch pudding was equally as delightful. Service was top notch but I was also allowed to eat in peace. I would come again for brunch with friends.
The server was knowledgeable about the wine and lighting and colors gave the atmosphere a cozy feeling. We didn’t love our table - the chairs and the table itself was low to the ground for the 6ft 4” guest I was dining with, there is also a center pole which made it difficult to find a place to put your feet, the arms on the chairs made it difficult to put your arms in your lap because your elbows/upper arms hit arms of the chair and there was also a metal rim around the edge of the table that made it uncomfortable to rest your forearms on the table - basically there was no comfortable place to put your arms. We asked to move but another table was not available. We also started the meal on the wrong foot - the bread was served cold, the butter wasn’t spreadable and the sparkling water was warm. Our favorites - were the butter lettuce salad, oysters, rigatoni, cappuccino and cookie plate. The main reason we didn’t love our entrees is that they came out cold. Overall, it was an average experience. For the price point - I’ve had much better meals. There was so much potential to have a better experience but honestly it fell short.
We stayed at the Mark Hotel for the weekend, we had an early departure this morning. Before leaving we had breakfast at the restaurant, we were greeted promptly at the door. We received great service requested banquettes, our salmon eggs Benedict were so delicious and coffee very strong! Server Massiel and Maître D’ Clement were very kind to us for our last visit.
Service, very good...from Benjamin to the servers. Food was very average....octopus starter had very little octopus....$140 steak for two was very fatty And unimpressive. Soufflé’ was delicious.
Food and service was outstanding, we enjoyed our breakfast, fresh squeezed juice, vegetables omelette, oatmeal was cooked perfect. Our server Ardit was attentive and friendly. Thank you team The Mark for the experience we can’t wait to be back
The best overall place to meet people for an evening dinner on the UES.
We had an amazing time for lunch enjoying the food and service experience. It was our first time in the neighborhood, we are usually eating at ABC Kitchen, we will surely be back at The Mark.
Delightful surprise to discover the toasted egg yolk caviar on the breakfast menu.
Rounded out nicely by the acai bowl recommended by the professionally on-point service manager.
The skylight suffused the alcove with a warm morning light, even on an overcast day.
Thank you to the team for a guest experience of the future, accessible today.
Great ambiance attentive service
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at The Mark Hotel. Everything was perfect. We dined at the Jean Georges restaurant downstairs and it was delicious and the service was excellent, very attentive. Staff made sure we were enjoying our time, it was a romantic weekend and they make it magical, lots of memories. We can’t wait to come back over the summer!
Our breakfast brunch was amazing today. We arrived at 10:45 and everything was flawless, food tasted delicious, our server was very friendly and took good care of us. We enjoyed our meal and our friends were very happy with the location. Such a wonderful hotel, it was a first for us at Jean Georges restaurant, we will visit his new restaurant soon.
Our server was very nice but our charge for food was grossly incorrect - $250 for four oysters. It was corrected but was a major error. Also dogs in restaurant that were clearly not service dogs even if they had a license. Little children jumping on couches. You need to find a way to make it more elegant. Disappointing
