We had the best meal and cocktails when we visited Natchitoches and had dinner at the Mariner’s. The Oscar steak was the best steak we’ve ever had. And the spicy pineapple margarita was so good, we ended up having a few. And the wine list was incredible which is always a good sign of an excellent restaurant. The ambiance at the restaurant was beautiful too. We got to see the most beautiful sunset on the lake as well. What a nice surprise. We can’t wait to go back!

The food was good however if you are going to pay the prices the cut of meat needs to be a little better. The Ribeyes are way too fatty. Their stuffed potatoes are pre prepared. I was told I couldn’t order a baked potato so I settled for a side I didn’t really want. Unfortunately I can’t eat bacon bits and they were in the stuffed potato’s. K. Holt Sieper, LA

I highly recommend Mariners ! I ordered the strawberry feta salad and added grilled shrimp! It was the perfect summer dish. Others ordered the filet mignon, which was perfectly cooked , and the sea bass. The sea bass was perfection! Cade was our server and did a great job!

The kitchen needs to tighten up. Chill your salads, plates, and salad dressing. Everything was warm. Corn and crab tasted ok but way too thick and the consistency looked like it was curdled. Stuffed potato was pathetic. All needs much improvement

The pork sirloin and lamb pops were incredible. The lobster ravioli was almost inedible, the filling seemed to be pureed imitation crab meat and the cream sauce had little flavor. We ordered a cuba libre which was watered down and the house old fashioned which had an unpleasant amount of muddled orange flesh in the glass. Our server had a bit of a spill at another table which is understandable, but seemed to have a hard time composing himself and focusing on his service afterwards.

Absolutely enjoyed our meal at the Mariner! We arrived at sunset and the view from the docks was incredible. I was so impressed by the selection of wines available, the staff's expertise was extremely helpful. The filet was perfectly cooked and the attention to detail was wonderful. One of my all time favorites includes the poke bowl, the dressing and the fresh ingredients! Would most definitely recommend the Mariner for any occasion!

The service was outstanding. Even in the midst of a downpour, the servers quickly moved us in and didn't miss a beat with our meals. The food was excellent. The only thing I recommend needed fix immediately is the roof, certain areas were leaking pretty bad on the inside. However they were able to effectively move around that as well.

One of the problems was the bartender ultimately failed when it came to drink mixing..2nd waitress was not attentive at all me and my family were the only table on the marina side and she was just no where to be found most of the time, then when the food came out the little door or whatever was open so flies were Everywhere on the food and our drinks. Then the food I ordered a crispy chicken ceaser wrap and SOMEHOW the actual chicken was SOO tough to bite into I don’t know if it was old or what and the fries were WAYY too over salted.

We had a big occasion to celebrate, so of course we went to The Mariner’s! The best of friends, amazing cocktails/wine, excellent cuisine, and the most beautiful sunset made this night spectacular! The restaurant and staff were next level. I usually get my favorite which is the alligator appetizer and seabass with spinach Madeline, but my besties influenced me to try the seared pork ribeye with fig & amaretto reduction and whipped sweet potatoes and it was fantastic!!!!! In fact 4 of us got that entree and it was just perfect!! The other two besties had the ahi tuna poke bowl and the grilled lobster, and yes we all tried it and it was wonderful!! I took pics so you can see for yourself! They have great deserts (especially the homemade white chocolate bread pudding), but it was a Birthday celebration, so they gladly let us bring our own Chantilly cupcakes to the dinner. Once again, a special night at our favorite restaurant! If you are visiting Natchitoches, you will love the cuisine, view, and atmosphere at Mariner’s!

Beautiful restaurant on the lake. Totally remodeled and tastefully done. Service was a little slow surprisingly since it wasn't but half full. Food was good. Parking was good and convenient. Diners were dressed very casually.

They sat a noisy couple right next to us with only 3 couples including us ?? The service and food were amazing!! The table by the window was too warm ! The deep fried lobster was so delicious it’s too bad it was over salted !! Long drive for us but we will be back

Made reservations for a second date night and was very impressed. The location was gorgeous as we had a table by the window. Our waiter was very hospitable and knowledgeable concerning the menu. Food was excellent and cooked to perfection. A must visit!

Went to dinner for a celebration and had the most wonderful time!!! Beautiful restaurant, excellent staff, and a stunning sunset! Just perfect! The food was amazing!!! We had the alligator bites, pulled pork nachos, seafood Eric, corn and crab bisque, and the best sea bass with spinach madeline!!!!! Every item was sooooo good! You will not regret coming here!
