At The Maple Kitchen, we're proud of everything our beautiful state has to offer. We do our best to give you a taste of Vermont's bounty with every sip and bite! From berries picked down the road by local growers to meats and cheese procured from the Green Mountain Smokehouse to spirits made from local distillers such as SILO Distillery, we are deeply connected to - and dependent upon- our local communities to bring our guests a true taste of Vermont. You won't have to look hard to spot Vermont ingredients - Cheddar cheese (always white, never yellow), maple syrup, local meats, apples, fennel, seasonal vegetables and more round out the items on the menu. We are glad to have you at our table!

Everyone at Maple Kitchen was wonderfully nice and the service was fast and friendly. Dinner was very enjoyable, but I do have one criticism of the food that is supposed to be a "taste of VT bounty", seasonal New England. There didn't seem to an indication of this on the menu...which for dessert had the option for Strawberries in March...? The menu also doesn't indicate where the food comes from at all. If it's local suppliers wouldn't you want that information on the menu? Also, the seasonal vegetarian pot pie just had small amounts carrots, celery and onion. It was tasty, but not much in the way of veggies and no indication of any "seasonal" vegetables at all. A small criticism of a generally good meal.

Big surprise ... Well prepared and delicious food at a restaurant tuckt in rural Vermont ! Loved's only 8 miles from I-91 and Maple Kitchen is worth the detour.

Excellent food! Chef is exceptional. Food was special and different, but not weird or too exotic to enjoy. Excellent presentation, quality meat and veggies, nice sized portions.

Noise level was a little loud with a large rambunctious group in the back room.

This is a holiday inn restaurant. The food was so-so, the staff very nice, the chef came by. But it was less high quality than we expected, sort of nice fast food rather than fine dining.

All the food and a cocktail that we ordered were absolutely delicious. The two seafood dishes were generously filled with lobster and crab meat. I was particularly impressed with how well seasoned my dish (seafood pot pie) was: it was a flavor explosion. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The food was good, however they were out of a couple of things on the menu that people in our party wanted to order and we were not told until they attempted to order. Also there was a wedding in the banquet hall next door so it was very loud for dinner. It was a good band so it was nice when we were not trying to talk.

Not only was the food wonderful and fresh, the chef actually came out and greeted each table. Outstanding service!

My wife and I dined on 12/26/19, as we were searching for place that would take a last minute reservation that had solid reviews. Lucky us!! This is small restaurant, and it's located in a Holiday Inn Resort, but the food was deserving a far more sophisticated setting. My BBQ ribs were a unique reflection of the Chef's Mediterranean heritage, as the sweet, yet sassy sauce had a wonderful blend of spices.....accompanied a hearty serving of meaty ribs. My wife has several food allergies, and though the waitress was very through and helpful in noting her needs.....the chef soon appeared to confirm with my wife what needed to be avoided and offered a few suggestions. Not only was he knowledgeable and insightful, he then returned to the kitchen and prepared her food meticulously as needed. Her Scallop dish was outstanding, as were the shredded and grilled Brussel sprouts.

The Chef also manages the restaurant, and it was clear this operation was his baby. I highly recommend this establishment for you will not be disappointed.

I booked through Opwn Table. i commented that I was vegan; this usually gets ignored. Not this time. The chef prepared a special entre! Delicious! Spouse's pork chips, really nice.
Loud, sterile, but very small. and great staff.
Nice on site, responsive.

We made an online reservation. We were seated quickly, even though we were a few minutes early. Our waiter was very accommodating, it was our first time redeeming a groupon voucher. The food was delicious and comforting. We both agreed that this was a place to revisit!

We drove 4 hours out of our way to experience The Maple Kitchen. What a treat! Great food - the chef is creative and congenial. Service topnotch. A beautiful setting.

Food and Service Superb. Manager/Chef very hands on and assuring everything was perfect. Unfortunately a couple of Drunk Ladies (if you call them ladies) at the Bar were very loud.

What a fabulous restaurant! It's so worth it and we went back twice. If we had been staying longer, we would have eaten there every night. Get the Cheddar Cheese stuffed tator tots for sure. They are fantastic! Really nice group of people and beautiful property! A must go to!

We were staying at the resort and did not have a reservation. But that was not a problem especially since there were many people there who were preparing for a wedding. We were brought to a table without any significant wait and the wait person was very helpful to me since I am handicapped and need to have an easily accessible table. My only negative is that it was quite noisy. Food was excellent and staff very helpful.

It says to avoid story telling but I feel like every detail is important. I use to be a server for MANY years so I am usually pretty forgiving because I know what can go wrong but still this was the worst experience I have had maybe ever. We decided to go for valentines day. I ordered a bottle of wine. Shortly after the bar tender walks over with an opened bottle of wine and looks at me says you ordered a bottle of wine? I said yes then he grabs the wine bottle by the top of the bottle, fingers touching the mouth of the bottle and pours me a full glass of wine, drips wine everywhere as he lifts the bottle then proceeds to pour my husband a full glass and lifts the bottle where he then drips more wine. He then takes out a rag and wipes the wine he spilled and walks away... I just looked at my husband and we both laughed. That was THE WORST wine presentation I have EVER encountered. We then ordered and I felt like splurging so I got the surf and turf which was $38. I asked for it medium rare. When it came out and was placed in front of me I immediately said to the waitress no this isn't right. It was so clearly well done. The filet had been butterflied and was firm. I cut into it just to be sure. There was no red in it at all. The server apologized and took it back. 20 min later it came back with the same potatoes, lobster and asparagus that was on the first plate but was now crusted over from sitting under the heat lamp, and the lobster was rubbery. The filet jiggled as she placed the plate down. it was now rare, much more rare than I could convince myself to eat, I did try a piece from the very edge, it had no flavor . My husband had chicken and mashed potatoes and beans. The chicken was dry, the potatoes were loaded with salt and the beans had a strange flavor. At this point I had enough. I sent the food back and had nothing for dinner. My meal was comp'd but nothing else was. This was very disappointing. High class prices but low class food
