It was a lovely, quaint place to celebrate our anniversary. We enjoyed the atmosphere and service immensely. Would highly recommend! The duck was spectacularly delicious!
Good location and setting in an old former residential home. Good menu with dishes from a variety of world styles.
We hadn’t been to the Manor Cafe for quite a while. Went for Easter Brunch and it was delicious. We both had the omelette special. Very tasty.
Food and service were outstanding. Made for an enjoyable evening.
The food and setvice were excellent. Because it is cosy you must be prepared to overhear neighboring conversations and vice versa. Other than that the ambiance us somewhat okd world chatm.
Awesome place just a bit to dark. I enjoy cozy but we found it to dark. If I can’t make out my food I don’t like that.
Always been one of our favourites. Hadn’t been there in awhile. Food was excellent, service was excellent. We’ve missed going and missed the very relaxing atmosphere.
We enjoyed every dish, from soup and salad to entrees to desserts. But what I most appreciated was the thoughtfulness of both the server and the chef in making adjustments around my weird food allergy ( nightshades).
A very pleasant experience. Great service.
Food was excellent and the service was very good. We were there for an extended brunch and enjoyed it thoroughly.
Great service .. great meal .. again we will be back ..
Been going to Manor for 17 years and I've never been dissapointed. Simply outstanding ! Cant wait to go back.
Really enjoyed our Valentine’s dinner, staff were very friendly the ambience was good and the food perfect.
Service was great. Sausage app was excellent. My wife had the burger, she enjoyed it. Overall had a wonderful time. Will come again.
We’ve eaten here twice in the last week. Fantastic food and atmosphere and an amazing gluten-free salmon eggs benny. Very kid friendly.
It was okay. Went for brunch and shared classic eggs benedict and the pear and brie French toast. The egg was poached soft as requested. Otherwise the benedict was nothing special. The potatoes it comes with are good. We both liked the French toast better. They have espresso, which is also standard, nothing special but not horrible. It was very quiet - we got there as it opened and were the only ones for Saturday brunch for quite a while. Sometimes there was no music and they played the same song twice in a row. The inside needs a facelift. Decor is dated.
Very good food and excellent service.
Lunch with friends.
Ambiance wonderful food excellent great waitress
$10 lunch special
First time diner here for myself and girl friend in late January. Very cute decor and a "homey" feel. Service was a bit slow in terms of attending to our table but our orders were delivered quickly.
This restaurant has always been one of my favorite places. Looking forward to coming again soon!
My guest and I really enjoyed the ambiance and the meal. Initially we were impressed that there were several $10 lunch options. Yet, we felt our choice should have included a bit more protein (4 oz?), and would have paid more if that is what is needed. While we really enjoyed the Thai pasta salad, there were only 2 shrimp and maybe 2 slivers of chicken breast.
The presentation and flavour was very nice though.
The only area that was lacking was the attention our female server gave us. It was very straight forward-no hospitality until we paid the cheque. Otherwise we enjoyed our evening.
The hostess who seated us was cold and not inviting at all. We felt as though we were inconveniencing her. Not even a smile. Food was great as was our wait staff . You need to create a warm and inviting entrance!
This has always been one of my favourite spots in town. Warm and elegant atmosphere and good food.
Asked for a substitute on a entree, was very poor. Got 3 vegetables in exchange for the french fries. Wine is way over priced for a glass. Took forever to get ketchup, had to ask twice.
Service was just adequate. The food is good but the menu is short. The ambiance is great though. Quaint restaurant in a historic house
very average for food, service a little tardy at times, too dark for our crowd, lots of kitchen noise twice dropped trays of something, very clean,
The food was outstanding. Would not hesitate to go back.
We had our wedding here, and returned for our one year anniversary. The food and service are fantastic.
Good food and great service. I appreciate the fact the Manor is moderately more quiet than some of the raucous-sounding venues with loud music and loud groups of people.
Cozy and elegant with incredible food and a lovely wine list. A favourite.
Delicious brunch! Will definitely be back. Quaint setting
Service was terrible.
We sat in a room with three tables, each table had only two people and had a seperate server for each table which we thought was great.
The table beside us arrived 15-20 min after us and were served and finished eating before we givin our starter salads.
The waiting and delays only got worse from there on. The waiter eventually stopped coming to our table, our dishes were not removed nor were offered dessert.
The waiter was preoccupied with the upstairs tables and also seemed to be under the influence of something.
Extremely disappointed that other servers didn’t step up to fill an obvious void in service.
We will never be back and will also let our friends know about our experience.
Great place to celebrate a birthday with a great friend. Food was tasty, price was good and ambiance fantastic. Old houses make great character restaurants. I'll be back!
Being hearing-impaired, I prefer a very quiet environment for conversation. I asked for a quiet area and we were invited to into the small dining room where we were the only guests. It was perfect. The food was delicious and the service friendly and attentive, but not overly so.
My partner and I were celebrating our 5th anniversary and decided to try somewhere new. The food was excellent. The service was very good. Once I advised the server about my food allergies, she was e very attentive and asked the proper questions. We will definitely be back.
Wonderful brunch with old friends - some I haven't seen for over 10 years.
Love Manor. Still one of the best restaurants in Edmonton. Service and food is always great.
I have been here for brunch multiple times and it is always fantastic. The restaurant is very bright and cozy. The place to eat brunch on a rainy or chilly morning. The eggs Benedict is amazing and clearly made with care for the ingredients. The seafood crepe is fantastic as well and they certainly aren't skimpy on the seafood filling. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity.
Four of us were here for dinner. We were very impressed in particular with the following:
Ambience of the room.
Waiter was very knowledgeable
So pleased to have a quiet conversation
Food was excellent
