   Rushed to table without time for drink at the bar, we arrived at exact time of booking when the place operates a 15 minute grace period either side of booking. We were not allocated a table we requested along the windows. We were not informed of the specials, but overheard them at next table. Fish & Chips meal no better than chip shop. Service charge included. It should always be discretionary!

   The food was delicious. The service from everyone from the moment we arrived throughout was first class. The location of the Maltsters Arms is delightful. We will definitely go back again soon (we live nearby) and in the meantime we will recommend it to all our friends.
