The Malt House Ratings and Reviews
Great place to have a couple of beers or wine with a date. Has a nice rustic/ tavern feel, which makes the place feel comforting. Our server only checked up on us once but overall it was good. Food was delicious and drinks were fantastic! I would def recommend.
Great place to go for delicious food and some good drinks! It's got a cool vibe and has some outdoor seating when the weathers nice. Also very accommodating to larger reservations. Nice staff and not too expensive considering the amount of food. Everyone I was with left satisfied and stuffed!
Warm and inviting pub with great beers on tap and delicious food! Love the aesthetics of the place, exposed brick, mason jar vases with fresh flowers, candles, wood tables and chairs. Fun menu with tasty selections. The guacamole was so good! Very friendly staff.
Everything was great (food, drinks, manager, waitress). However, I booked a reservation at 230pm for the 2 hour bottomless brunch. When I was seated I was informed bottomless ends at 4pm so although I'd be paying for 2 hours I would be getting less than that. Nowhere on the website or menu does it say brunch ends at 4. They should definitely put this information on the website so people know they should book brunch by 2pm latest to get the full 2 hours they're paying for.
It was not the restaurant's fault but if you are coming to this location for the 2 hour unlimited brunch I would advise to make the reservation with the restaurant directly. Upon arrival we were told that because we had booked through Open Table the 2 hour brunch would not apply and our table would only be reserved for 1 hour and 15 minutes. If we wanted to stay longer we would need to relocate to the bar or another area if available. This stopped us from ordering drinks but the food was quite good. It would be good for Open Table to have disclaimers about restaurants when there is a lower designated time period than advertised.
The food was good and well priced. There was a private party the night I went there so that might be a factor in the noise level but it was horrendous. My friend and I were bent over across the small table and still had to shout to be heard. We picked it because the review said typical american food :salads., burgers etc -all true but the noise was a deal breaker. It was near our theater the other reason for the choice but never again.
