Melissa is a fantastic server. Always so kind and has a smile.
Delicious veggies and main dish. Can’t wait to go back!
The Majestic never disappoints, be it a fun night out (great wine and cocktail options) or a delicious Sunday brunch (get the monkey bread as an appetizer to share). The service and atmosphere are always on point. The Majestic is hands down, my favorite restaurant in Old Town!
The monkey bread is to die for! ❤
St. Patrick's Day Brunch with friends.
Not a huge brunch selection but definitely all the main brunch staples available. Speciality brunch drinks as well as full bar available.
I've been wanting try this place for months so I was definitely surprised at the enjoyable experience. The staff was welcoming and friendly & service was decent.
The atmosphere is well, majestic. It feels old school in a good way.
I will definitely return and recommend.
Wonderful experience. The food was amazing, the staff was so friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable, elegant and inviting. Perfect indirect lighting!
The Majestic has become one of our “go to” restaurants because the service is fabulous, the food is always delicious and the cocktails are classically creative.
We loved the food and the service was great. It was a little noisy for us though.
Great food and good service. We went for brunch to celebrate a friend's birthday. We do not regret it!
Great place and great wait staff
The server was great. Wish I had remembered her name. The manager was even more remarkable. Came by several times to check how everything turned out and offered us free starters for the next time we come.
Overall, we enjoyed our date at The Majestic. We both got the Sunday Supper—sides were great, but I found the fried chicken greasy and under-seasoned (no salt at the table either). The real standout dish was the fantastic deviled eggs! Really great blending of flavors and textures while staying true to the spirit of the dish.
We returned for brunch the following weekend and enjoyed the meal, especially the super fluffy monkey bread. My husband got the corned beef sandwich, and I got the shakshouka—my only complaint is that I wish it had been served with pita bread instead of brioche! Brioche sops the sauce up too much and gets soggy, whereas you could eat the whole dish with pita.
This was our third trip to the Majestic and one once again the food and service was fantastic. Our server Melisa who we have had all three times was awesome and has remembered us every time. We also met the manager Mika who was really nice and came over to say hi and see how we liked everything. I had the best burger I think I ever eat in my life it was almost a religious experience it was so good. My wife Jen loved her dish as well. This is our new favorite place in Old Town. We plan to go back again this week as everything we have had here has been awesome.
Food and atmosphere was awesome! Definitely planning my next visit
I order the duck at every restaurant that offers it. This was the best version I've had in years. Very, very good. However, the noise level on a Saturday night left us screaming at each other. Not a fun night out with friends.
The service was wonderful! We were promptly and warmly greeted and seated right away. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We felt welcome. The pork chop dish was great, but the other entree less so. The sea bass was beautifully presented, but the seasoning on the vegetables was not to my taste. The proportion of fried brussels sprouts to the bacon jam was off - not enough jam. I consider this a one time blip, however, and will visit again.
Fabulous in every way ... only comment that the low light made it difficult to read the menu. Had to use light from phone to help and I saw other people trying to hold the menu up to a lighting fixture on the wall as well.
Great little find in Old Town. Amazing cocktails and delicious food.
Everything was great but the food took a while. Not a huge deal because it’s Sunday brunch but it seemed unusual.
The food was excellent. Six people had 5 different entrees and all were superb.
We arrived close to 15mins late for our reservations due to parking challenges in Old Town. The hostess said our table was given away, and one of their managers Mika (I think) was great about finding us a spot for two. The food is quite good... the place is packed. Parking across the street gets taken fast... I would recommend Uber or Lyft to get there.
We enjoyed our brunch. The food was terrific, our waiter kept the perfect balance of being available for us without being intrusive or rushing us. All in all, a great experience. My friends and I shall return.
Great food, waiter was a bit slow with the service. Excellent interior
First dinner at the Majestic. Great meal for 2 without alcohol was $100. Our server Melissa was attentive and professional. The dark chocolate cake was not to the liking of my quest (cherries in the center of the cake) and the on duty manager eliminated the charge and gave him a card for another dessert in the future. Good for social dining. A little tight for larger groups, but overall a great experience.
Excellent food and atmosphere - be sure to splurge.
Always amazing service and excellent food. Save room for their famous coconut cake!
Happily surprised! Great food, cool atmosphere, good service!
Service was impeccable, fish was perfectly cooked but sides were a little off. Potato casserole would have been better served warm than room temp, and would have benefited from less herbs. Coconut cake is to die for! So noisy that it was hard to hear our friends sitting across the table.
Fabulous service and amazing food! Everyone was tripping our themselves to make us feel welcome...what a nice change. Great martini’s.
This restaurant was sold a few years ago and it is even better than before. Just make sure you make a reservation. It was packed.
The staff was top notch
Fantastic all around. Food and service where both fantastic this is one of our new favorite places to eat.
My boyfriend and I picked this place for Valentine's Day this year, and we were immediately seated for our 5:00 reservation. The place looks like a diner from the outside, but is actually an ornately decorated restaurant, and the dim, red velvet ambience was perfect for a romantic dinner. Our waitress Alex(?) was great- gave us the rundown of the menu since it was our first time, and was attentive but never annoying.
We're not drink connoisseurs, but I had a V-Day cocktail called Moon of My Life (Apparently, someone is a Game Of Thrones fan) with sparkling wine and a honey hibiscus ginger syrup. Delicious, sweet and complimentary to the meal.
Both of us were a little daunted by the limited menu, but being as they put quality over quantity, we were understanding. I had the Cioppino, and he had a burger which both came out faster than we expected. My Cioppino was a blend of multiple kinds of seafood (PEI mussels, blue crab, halibut, and jumbo shrimp) in a spicy tomato-fennel broth. This came with two thick slices of bread. This meal was honestly one of the best meals I've ever had in my life- the seafood was so flavorful and the broth didn't overpower the delicate flavors of everything. He had the burger with bacon jam (thick pieces of bacon in a barbeque tasting sauce) and horseradish cream. It wasn't even available on the menu that day, but the waitress was kind enough to ask the chef. The manager even stopped by to ask us how everything was! All the waitresses helped to keep our water full, not just our waitress.
All in all, this is an impressively swank restaurant for its small size, offering up delicious food in an intimate setting hosted by a wonderful friendly staff. This was the perfect Valentine's dinner I was hoping for. Although it is a bit out of our price range, we will definitely be making the trip here again!
My wife and I had Valentines Day there this year. The service was great, attentive despite the busy night. The food came just quickly enough, but not too fast. Speaking of food, the Sea Bass was outstanding, maybe the best I have ever had. The Fondue desert was also fantastic. One of the best deserts we have ever shared. Since we eat out in nice places regularly, this is saying a lot.
The service was great. Food was just as good. The general manager was very attentive and made the evening that much better.
We love the Majestic. Great atmosphere for couples - love the row of doubles. Great bar too. Service and food are terrific. Location is unbeatable. Five Stars!
Went for Valentines Day dinner. Food and service were great...managers checked in during the meal to make sure everything was okay. A bit loud, but that’s to be expected on such a big night. Overall, excellent meal, excellent service, and we will be back!
Valentines Day date... great service, but very average food. Had the leg of lamb and wife had sea bass. Lamb was tough, perhaps overlooked. Sea bass was just warm, perhaps not fully cooked.
The wine was 50% off, and we did enjoy that!!
Coffee with dessert was lukewarm.
The Server was very attentive and knowledgeable, and we tipped him well.
My caesar salad was just okay. My crab cakes entree was excellent. My flourless chocolate cake dessert was very disappointing - hard and dry. I found the dinner menu to be rather limited and needing more overall meal options/choices.
Service was very slow but food was great! The hostess was a little rude but otherwise the staff was great!
Brunch options were very diverse and will go back to try more menu items! Great Bloody Mary’s as well!!!
The food was great and the service was even better. This is one of my favorite spots in Old Town. It's cozy but still vibrant and I've never had a bad meal.
