Amazing!!!
Great food and friendly staff! Our meal came out quickly and was delicious. Will definitely be back!
Excellent meal, with large portions. Waitstaff was attentive and friendly and took proper COVID precautions. A must go place if you enjoy Indian food.
The food is good, very good menu options as well.
A great place to dine and lunch. Appreciate the food quality.
Very tasty Indian food; heat level can be adjusted to suit. Excellent, friendly service.
Will revisit soon! Great ambience... Hospitality great
The restaurant ambience is very good. The service is very nice. The cost is very high but may be due to the location it might be high.
The service was excellent. I ordered a curry and it ended up something I didn't expect, Immediately the waiter took it away and got a replacement very quickly.
The thing I don't like is they charge for onions , lemon and raitha which is usually unexpected in any other indian restaurant.
Very nice ambiance and great food! I will definitely be back!
Good place to go for lunch and dinner! Good hospitality too.
Absolutely The best Indian food in New England!
Nice to be back to our favorite Indian restaurant! Outdoor tables and heaters made for a pleasant evening. The tandoor lamb chops delicious as usual.
We miss the lunch buffet and suggest that they gradually return to it, but have restaurant staff serve patrons instead of patrons serving themselves from the buffet.
We had the ala carte lunch, which is good but a little pricey, especially for a college area. It would be nice if they would do a lunch combo and include naan and rice with the entree.
Overall a good restaurant.
Mango lassi with ginger is very good, as is the korma.
By far the best Indian Food around. Everything is made fresh to order, the balance and depth of flavor is spot on. Best Dal Makhani ever. Sag Paneer and Paneer Tikka Masala are a must!
This is one of the best Indian restaurant I have been to throughout United States. Food quality and service is upto the mark.
Courteous , lovely staff. Quiet , which is a high priority for us. They need people to come ! Keep them in business. No buffet allowed yet , but food is great They take great precautions for covid We took home a menu so we can study it and order in the future.- because we used to only get the buffet. Worth it !
Decent food and nice service. The last time we visited this place was in 2011. We had expected the same quality of food. Overall a decent experience.
The restaurant was pretty empty when we go there and it took about 15 minutes for a server to take our order once we ordered we waited about 45 minutes for our food, they brought the appetizers with the entrees which was disappointing and forgot the condiments we ordered, server never came back to check on us or see if we needed anything or more drinks. The food was really tasteless, which is odd for an Indian restaurant the dishes tasted bland, and the meats were very tough. Our little Indian restaurant by where we will is much better!
The food was excellent, reasonably priced and the service was excellent.
The buffet was delicious and the service was friendly and attentive.
Food was all delicious and our server was very attentive. We would definitely go back.
Food was good and ambience was also good for everyday restaurant. Service was ok. My main dish came out incorrect (wrong dish) and had to wait while my friends dinner was already out (we were in a hurry for a play). Server was polite but never really apologize for the mistake. Other than the server mishap, it was a decent experience.
I thought the place would be a little fancier but it seemed more like a family restaurant. The service was great but the food wasn't that good. It wasn't that bad either but I have tried way better and more delicious quality indian food. The food was kind of plain and boring without that "kick" you expect from indian food. Take the chicken samosas, they taste like plain, dry ground chicken wrapped in fried pastry. I also usually LOVE! Indian mango chutney, but sadly, here it tasted more like very sweet mango jelly without that tangy savory flavor I was expecting. We also ordered a lamb dish but we didn't like it. We did like the chicken dish.
The food was pretty good overall. We went for the buffet. It was pretty crowded. Most of the food was fairly spicy. Parking is a definite issue but once you find a space, it's worth the wait.
The food took a long time to arrive from the kitchen and one dish was wrong, but everything we ordered was so good.
We love this place and go every few months. Both eggplant dishes are delicious. The food is fresh and the wait staff are attentive, but not hovering.
We were a group of 6, 4 of whom are Indian (aka tough critics). Our server was amazing. The food was great. EVERYONE was happy.
Great Luncheon Buffet...Wonderful selection freshly prepared...Excellent friendly service from Frank my waiter
Highly recommend - wonderful ambiance overlooking the square in Cambridge. There is an extensive menu for vegans and vegetarian with wonderful tasty dishes.
What a nice surprise in Harvard square. The restaurant is surrounded by full glass windows so we could watch the snow through dinner. Food delicious -- naan, chicken tikka masala, samosas, pakoras, etc. wait staff great. Recommended!
Best Indian food compared to other Indian restaurants. The staff is always friendly and efficient and quick! Definitely a great place to gather with friends and family! My favorite restaurant so far!
Excellent food as always! Great for gluten free.
The food was fabulous and the staff were fantastic. There was a good variety of vegetarian options. For the non- vegetarians the chicken tiki masala was lovely.
This place is the best for Indian food - the food is great, service is very prompt and diligent even when crowded, it's clean, tastefully decorated, with huge windows over JFK st. & the small park next to it.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food!
The food at the lunch buffet is AMAZING! We ate sooooo much and it was some of the best Indian food I've had in Boston. Everything tasted super fresh and not overly greasy. There was also so much variety. I wished it was little bit less expensive but that is just because I am a broke college student. Overall, it was well worth it and I will definitely be back.
I'm a regular at this place. This time I had Murgh Wajid Ali -- Chicken in creamy sauce
which I found too bland. But everything else was fine, and I'll be back!
The Lamb Saag is delightful--so flavorful. And the ambience is vibrant, understated.
I'm a regular at the Maharajah. I like the ambience and the service is always excellent.
Sometimes in the past the curry has been a bit bland -- not this time! I had a Lamb Vindaloo
which should be hot enough to bring on a sweat -- and it certainly did.
We went to Maharaja for a birthday dinner. We were luckily given a corner seat with window on both sides. It added to our celebrations. The night view was georgeous and food phenominal.
The 'paneer tikka' starter and 'hara bhara kabab' were tasty. But the highlight for us was the 'chicken
biryani'. My husband loved the Lucknow styled 'biryani' and really relished it till 2 days later. So in all, it was a fun night with tasty food.
