We’ve had fantastic servers here! Tonight was no exception! Our server was exceptional! The management is another story, they need to get it together. Second time coming here WITH reservations and given hard time about seating preference. Was told booths were for upcoming reservations, when literally all booths open. We were given option of half booth only until we persisted, then were reluctantly sat at a true booth. Are we less important customers? Well we were treated that way. Why do customers need to struggle with preferred seating when most of restaurant unoccupied to begin with? Not impressed with how management handled this situation, esp when they argue with the customer, translation: they lack customer service skills (or they simply don’t care). This place will not last if they don’t get their act together. Message to management....treat every customer like gold!!
Great food. All that we had was so flavorful and unique. Loved the baby back ribs and the Cole slaw.
Really enjoyed our evening on the patio! We all had the ahi and it was delicious. Service was wonderful!
Really enjoyed this place. Nice surprise.
First time visit. The entire staff was great. We chose outside seating as we were not aware we would have to endure the occasional heavy smoke from Pizzeria Bianco's oven when the wind shifted. Fortunately, we had masks we could pop on! We had many choices on the happy hour menu and enjoyed them all with one exception. We ordered the bag of. bones which contained 4 very, very tiny riblets over french fries. They were tasty but only getting about 2 bites of meat was disappointing. Desserts were great also. We would return.
Excellent food, excellent service, great ambiance. The ribs are to die for. Perfect amount of sauce. Chicken sandwich was very crispy and flavorful. Cocktails were good as well.
Food was amazing and our server was excellent . I wish the ambiance was a little bit more upbeat with the music but overall everything was great! I will definitely be back soon
While the food was delicious, our server was not so wonderful. We were there to celebrate 2 engagements and a birthday and the server could care less. It took multiple tries to get a celebratory dessert, additional asks for a candle, and then she just stuck it on the bill. We made sure to request the celebratory occasions on the reservation and the server just went through minimal motions.
Waitress seemed distracted. Overall a perfectly enjoyable experience on a beautiful day. 😊
We had a very pleasant dinner here. The food was good, the service was good and we were able to sit outside. A good choice.
Early lunch on Sunday, sat outside on a delightful day. 1st timers here get a courtesy dish from the kitchen (sensational pan fried or grilled brussel sprouts with bacon pieces and slow roasted garlic). Loved the semi-spicy, super tasty cup of tortilla chicken soup. Nice portion of Caesar salad with a delicious portion of grilled salmon on top, and a very generous portion of stringy French Fries on the side. Too much to eat really for 2 persons but the tastes were wonderful. Only "kink" was that the server never came back to the table once lunch was served to check on whether we needed anything. We would go back here, however, to try something new on their diverse and large menu.
The jalapeño grits were amazing
Our server was from Louisiana and knew the menu well. She had great recomendations on the blackened fish. The steak, and shrimp/grits were all wonderful.
Every Thanksgiving friends of ours bring us a pumpkin pie from this place that is THE BEST you will ever have. We decided to try it out, and man, are we glad we did! Our waitress was knowledgeable and attentive. All her recommendations were a hit with our group! Get the smoked salmon starter, short ribs and DEFITNITELY the butterscotch pecan pie! The key lime was fantastic too. The more casual ambience was a nice change for the Biltmore area. We'll be back!
This was the first time we tried the Macintosh. Cozy neighborhood atmosphere, not too loud, good food and friendly service. Would go back again.
Everything was great! We loved our meals, service was on point and just a great night. We will be back!
High quality, tasty food served quickly. The burrata cheese is not to be missed! Service was very attentive and the atmosphere is very nice. Will definitely go back next time I’m in Phoenix!
Our server was very knowledgeable and very patient. The service was well within any reasonable expectations. The food was good and reasonably priced in accordance with other competitive restaurants. We enjoyed our time at the restaurant and will return.
The food was great. Our server was Ok, but usually I get better service, so will go back.
This restaurant has great potential. We love the ambiance, food and cocktails this place has to offer. First experience was outstanding, but the second experience was okay. Was initially told 1.75 hr wait but found earlier reservation on open table just minutes later. Trouble is the management seemed unsure about this, and all I remember hearing from the woman was “well we are expecting other reservations” (🙄which customers don’t want to be told especially when they also have legit reservations and are present at doorstep.....it makes customer feel as though their presence isn’t as important). It was a bustling night, the management and workers seemed somewhat frazzled, but the skill is making it seem as though you are not frazzled. We would’ve liked to have seen overall warmer service, even when it means waiting a little longer for food and cocktails. The waitress with the long braids (not our main waitress) brought me the salt and pepper as I requested but dumped it off at the opposite end of table then scattered away in a hurry.
Great Spot to get together with friends! We went on Valentines Day - the food is good and the drinks were Really Good. Had a great time and will definitely be back.
Enjoyed the experience. Our server seemed a little overwhelmed and new so that is not indicative of the standard service. She still did a solid job. The food was fantastic. We will be going back to try some of the other starters and entrees. We are bringing friends next time as well.
1. When walked to the table they made us sit on the same side of the booth for " social distancing" yet the booth in front and back us was " allowed" to sit on either sides of the booth, therefore what was the point of us sitting on the same side? This made our dinner awkward & kind of uncomfortable.
2. Was never told the were out of onion rings & just gave me French fries instead. I had to ask about it & the response I got was " I was told 10 minutes ago we were out" Mind you this was after our food was already brought out by a food runner. The server never really seemed like he was going to say anything, if I hadn't asked about it. Cleary communication isn't important. Yes, it shouldn't be a huge deal BUT I love the onion rings and they are one of things we come for. To top it off the chicken was extremely dry.
Great food. Me and my daughters enjoyed a Valentines dinner
Our family of 7 (4 adults, 2 teen boys and a 7 yr-old girl) all found something we liked and the food & service was outstanding!
Very pleased with this choice. Interesting menu, nice vibe, very good service. And yes, the Shrimp and Grits are as good as they say it is.
Birthday dinner for wife..... great meal!
We went for Valentine’s Day sat outside. Food and service was excellent!
The pecan pie was over the top
Delicious food, great cocktails and excellent service. We had a lovely and relaxing evening on the patio. Will be back for more soon.
Was by myself so sat at the bar. Same great food, good service and watched a basketball game. Perfect solo escape.
Great place for shrimp and grits. And the salmon with risotto is wonderful. Can sit inside out outside.
First time but definitely would go again. Menu has something for everyone. We started with the Poutine. Entrees were as follows Noodle Salad with Shrimp, Pulled Pork sandwich with onion rings , Ribs with slaw and loaded potato, Salmon with Caesar salad. Brownie, Bread Pudding and Butterscotch pie for dessert!
Great food & service!
Stopped in for a late lunch. Had their spin on the Waldorf salid and it was fantastic!!!
My boyfriend and I LOVE this place! Food is always incredible and service is amazing. We’re excited to check out the other restaurants in the area by the same group!
The food was great. The rotisserie chicken is my favorite dish on the menu. The buttermilk pesto dipping sauce for the onion rings is to die for. The service was ok, I feel like this is always the case though.
Loved our waitress, Emma! She was so positive and kind. Truly helped make our experience WONDERFUL!!! Highly recommend this place.
Consistently delicious food and friendly staff in a comfortable, casual atmosphere. Try the delicious salmon with garlic and brussel sprout risotto, sautéed spinach and kale—and the butterscotch pecan pie!
Team service was confusing when tipping. One server was great, the others not so much. The food was overpriced but tasted good. I will not go again.
