   I always find good service and excellent food. The pastries are wonderful.

   An unfortunate miss after many enjoyable weekend brunches. Our table of 4 waited over an hour for food (felt like server forgot to put the order in) without any comp to the bill or strong apologies. After the food was delivered the server ignored the table for the rest of our experience. Mistakes happen, but the food itself fell a little flat, with very few strawberries on the strawberry waffle. To get less than two strawberries and pay $17+ felt like a rip off for a single waffle. We were then kicked out promptly as the reservation time came to a close.

   Food was cooked well and tasted good. I do think for the cost though two slices of bread for toast instead of just one would be advisable. Over easy egg was perfect, bacon and sausage tasty and cooked nicely. Service was an issue. Seated in a timely fashion and given water, then waitress comes to take drink order and flees before I can even utter a food order, let alone asking if I had one. Eventually, about ten minutes later, I was able to flag down another waitress to make my order. Then once had my food my waitress never checked on me until I was done. I could have used more coffee and would have ordered another latte and was planning in ordering a pastry to go. But not after being ignored. So that was majorly disappointing considering the prices they charge. Clean up that and this is a great place instead of just decent.

   WE enjoyed our meal however while we were still in the restaurant, I became sick and am still pretty queasy. My husband has not been sick but is not feeling well. I had the avocado toast and my husband had the omelet special. Our past experiences at The Lynhall have been excellent with no side effects. I am sensitive to melon; any type of melon makes me sick. So I suspect either the radishes made me sick (there were quite a few) or the knife used to slice the radishes may have been used to slice melon previously and not washed in the time between. Who knows?

   Lunch w couple girlfriends, food was good but I would say price was a bit high for what we got. Great spot , next time coffee and pastry

   Great place to meet for lunch when at 50th and France. I liked my avocado toast but the potatoes were too dark. We loved the wine selections.

   Croissant was stale. Coffee drinks were luke warm and not that tasty. Salmon tartine was very good.
