   Initially, I had already decided against doing any review. Since Open Table emailed me the following day seeking my review, here it is: This was my 1st experience ever with this establishment. When I arrived per reservation, awkwardly I stood unacknowledged (even ignored by nearby servers who glanced over at me but chose to ignore me rather than go alert the missing host who should have greeted & sat me. Awkward 1st impression, indeed. Eventually, I when I tired of standing there unacknowledged, I walked over to the bartender for help & she kindly sat me. Unfortunately, the service was without redemption. As will be explained below, I ended up with 2 different servers, neither of whom bothered to greet me upon their arrival tableside. Not even did they offer me their name. I ordered a brunch bundle. The breakfast was tasty. Later, a different person arrived at my table to clear away my breakfast plate, warm my coffee & offered to bring my bill. With surprise, I explained that my bill will reflect a bundle & I had yet to discuss & receive the next course. I asked where is my server. That person then announced they were now my server as my initial server had to leave, exclaimed that they were unaware of my next course m and, defensively said they were "only trying to help me." What struck me as odd was up until the above referenced exchange, no one had bothered as a courtesy to inform me of a change in servers. Nor did the 2nd server bother to greet me & introduce themself. In other words the following should have been done but was not: "Hello, I'm so & so, I will be taking over as your server, can I offer you a dessert (OR YOUR NEXT COURSE)?" Nada ... Even if a host is unavailable, a kind acknowledgment that you are seen can go a long way to overcome misteps. Also, it is crucial that servers be taught the fundamentals (basics) of service. Last, either the servers or mgmt & 2nd server should have touched base about on where 1st server left off.

   We had brunch at the Mple 2640 Lyndale location. Hadn’t been there since pre pandemic. The type of service had changed from waiting in line to full service.Yay! Food and wait staff were great. Will go back again!

   The bundle was a perfect meal!! Place was packed1 We have been wanting to go there for years and finally made it!

   Had the sour dough pancakes, candied walnuts and rhubarb. Delicious. Service was great. My friend had the eggs Benedict with asparagus and greens, looked wonderful.

   Made reservations for Father's Day and had a great experience. The food options were great and delicious!

   Perfect place for my mom’s birthday brunch. Service was great - people were hospitable and friendly and the vibes were great as always! And then food was of course freaking delish.

   Good food but too noisy for a get together as we had to talk louder than usual. Not a Place to meet up for chatting. Food and service was excellent. Not too happy with the tip System either. We were charged for some tax and we were made To tip on top of that
