   Lucky well was a pleasant surprise I don’t live in the area but I rent a garage for my business near by and decided to try the restaurants in the area. I picked the lucky well because I am a BBQ lover . The service was awesome I mean fast and they are on top of things . I ordered brisket , ribs , fries , corn bread and collard greens and a flight of burbon whiskey. I always expect the brisket to be dry , NOT here it was very moist and the ribs were cooked to perfection with a dry rub the bourbon flight was the best $20.00 I spent in 3 years and the combo was perfect . I cook bbq so it was nice to get something this good that I didn’t have to cook . Top Notch !!!

   Great job. Brought my in-laws for the first time. Everyone had a great meal. We were in the back room so the noise wasn’t bad. Our server did an excellent job.

   Great drink and beer selection. Delicious food-and terrific service. We went on a Saturday when there was a band, so it was a little loud but in a way that is to be expected if there is live music

   We had an excellent waitress, Cindy, and the bourbon cocktails were fantastic. Food was great too. Lots of great flavors it didn’t all taste the same. We will definitely go back.

   I got the BBQ BOWL/pulled pork.The food came quick but it was cold sent it back,when it came back Mac and cheese was still not hot toppings were on the side(their theory was topping was cold so?) and it was missing the crunchy topping.Drinks were good though

    The BBQ Bowl with Mac and Cheese was cold and it did not have much flavor. The best item was the Quesadillos. They ran out of the shrimp appetizers which I looked forward to and it was on Friday evening. Jambalaya is advertised on the website menu. However, it was not included on the Friday night menu of Nov. 4, 2022. The wings good. For my first visit, I was not satisfied.

    The food was all delicious, the pork belly burnt ends were especially outstanding. They have a creative list of cocktails, that were easily converted into mocktails for my pregnant self. I will definitely be back!

    A group of us enjoyed our evening at the Lucky Well in Ambler, where the food was wonderful, the drinks were good, and our server was helpful and friendly. Will be back again!

    My wife and I were looking for a new restaurant to try for our anniversary dinner. We decided to try The Lucky Well. We were impressed with the layout and cleanliness of the Lucky Well. Staff was friendly. I ordered the St. Louis Ribs with a side of BBQ Beans and enjoyed both. My wife ordered the brisket with a side of mac and cheese. She did not enjoy the brisket because there was a lot of fat. I would say she was able to eat only about half of the three pieces of brisket she received. We were both disappointed with that.

    It was our first time there and everything we tried was delicious. Brisket queso, chimichurri shrimp and house wings. We ended up eating at the bar in place of our original reservation so our bartender, Don, gave us great suggestions on food and drinks. We can't wait to go back!

    Always a great time, food was awesome and watching the games and eating is always enjoyable at this establishment. Very busy and the service was a little slow due to the crowd, but that shouldn’t be looked at as a negative. We always have a great time.

    The food was very good and the service was very friendly. My son picked the restaurant for his birthday dinner. It was worth the 30 min drive. We will go again very soon.

    Began dinner with a Kentucky Iced Tea cocktail (Four Roses bourbon, honey, lemon, tea) that was delicious. Cucumber gazpacho for appetizer was OK, but I will order the gorgeous tomato and corn salad next time. Entrée combo with St. Louis ribs and smoked brisket was outstanding, cole slaw was good with not to much mayonnaise, and cornbread with sweet butter was amazing. Dessert of corn and brown butter gelato was deliciously sweet.

    Fun setting and delicious food. Our second time celebrating our daughter's return to college. We dined here last year before she left for her first year. Great way to take time out and enjoy a family meal together. Thx LW!!

    The ribs were outstanding. Very tasty and meat was easy to pull from bone. Wings were a little overcooked. Collard greens too spicy and too salty. Allow someone to add hot Sause to greens instead of adding during cooking. Mac and cheese were a little bland. Add different types of cheese to give more flavor. Also, cornbread was very tasty but heavy and dry. Add a little oil if you do not want to add eggs. Will come back to try ribs again and something different.

    A fun place to go! Good food, good service, casual atmosphere, always a good meal and fun time. I was with a group of 9 in the smaller dining area, and we were able to talk easily at first. When the performer started, it was harder to talk without raising our voices, but we were there for the show and had a table right next to the little stage/ platform. We could still hear each other and hold a conversation. The group ordered apps : fried green tomatoes and fried Brussel sprouts to share. Delish! For dinner, two of us had salad with shrimp. I also saw the brisket sandwich & the pulled pork over mac and cheese. The other dishes were too far away to see and talk about, but all the plates were bare before they were cleared away, so I assume they were as good as my salad! My husband's fries were yummy! I started the evening with a watermelon mojito, which was just my speed, light in flavor and not to heavy on alcohol. Just right! I usually share a drink with my husband, but he barely got a sip of this one. We were there to see Bryan Ruby, a country music singer - songwriter, who visits the Phila area on occasion. Bryan takes requested, as well as singing songs he's written for other country singers like Hayden Joseph, Xavier Joseph, Neil Cooper, Don Louis, & Cassandra. Great music!
